J o T : Leaks

I've used this for several different things including meat and grain. Unlike name brand Food Saver bags, these have texture on both sides of the bag. The texture is also tighter than the oem. Consequently, the bags are harder to get a good vacuum on, and when you do, the seals can leak. Of 5 bags containing grain, 2 leaked. We've had frozen steaks in these bags leak meat juice in the fridge while thawing. Not a fun mess to clean up. So the bags we have left are going into the trash because they are just not doing the job they are intended to do.

These make good bags for a great price. I really don’t think you could find better unless you’re looking for something special that I don’t know even exists!

This material is very durable, easy to clean and reuse, and hasn’t failed to seal for me yet!

Ii wouldn’t hesitate to purchase these.
