How should I use the bag sealer correctly？Is there a detailed manual？

Answer: Dear customer,

Answer: It’s very easy. Slide the top back to reveal the sealer and when you squeeze it to seal hold it a couple of seconds to hear you and then just slide it where you want to seal.

Answer: There are directions but it’s pretty much self explanatory.Works great and is easy to use...we love it!!!

What is the battery type of this product? Is it alkaline or carbon?

Answer: Dear customer, the product battery type is 2*AA alkaline batteries. It doesn't work carbon battery.

Can the heat sealer reseal the chip bags?

Answer: I have sealed everything in my pantry lol. I’ve even sealed the plastic bubble wrap bag the sealer arrived it. But mostly all types of plastic and plastic aluminum bags. Not just chip bags.

Answer: No

Does it stay hot if batteries are left in? Are we supposed to take batteries out each time we finish using it? Or is there an off setting?

Answer: No, it don’t need to take out the battery every time you use it. You only need to slide and close the cover on heating pad after use. The product will automatically power off. And you just need to slide open the cover next time you use it.

Answer: No need to take out the battery, you just slide the middle cover forward and stops heating.

Can this seal ziplock bags, too？

Answer: Yes , it can. When the ziplock bags are not functioning, this can help. I seal them with clips before, while it took a lot of kitchen space and the air could still leak. With the sealing machine, I could separate the bag into different sections and give a double secure.

I bought this bag sealer for many reasons. We took it with us in the camper this weekend and sealed all of our potato chip bags, sunflower seed bags and even used the knife to cut open a package. I haven’t been able to use this item yet but it’s exactly what you pay for. The only thing is that the box cutter in the back doesn’t stay when you push it out so it might be hard to use. But over all it’s quite convenient and compact as well as very cute and stylish.

You can use it to reseal almost anything and its small enough to keep it in the kitchen drawer. Just make sure you have 2 - AA batteries at hand. I been using rechargeable batteries from Amazon and once its weak, just simply replace the batteries. There's also a small retractable knife to help open any bags or to make the bag smaller as well. Def worth it and must have in any kitchen. If only i knew about this sooner.

Cool little gadget. Works pretty good. One major problem. The magnet that is used on the back is not strong enough to keep it from falling of if the refrigerator once you put the batteries in it. I learned that after it fell off from simply closing the door. Hit the floor, everything shattered apart, I reassembled, and now it doesn’t work. Keep in in a drawer.

It is too difficult for me to return so I kept this item. Please don’t waste your money. It seals about 90% on the first pass and then what is the point? I don’t feel safe to leave it stored with its batteries. It does get very hot. Difficult to understand instructions are included.
