What is the temperature range on zpg 1000e?

Answer: 175-450

Are the warming racks removable?

Answer: The warming rack is removable

Answer: Negative, not WiFi capable.

How do i get specifications beyond basic dimensions sach as btu’s , how does it perform in cold weather

Answer: Don’t know about BTUs. I use a BBQ GO that has six probes one that gives a more accurate oven temp. Has an app for your phone that you can set alarms for each probe. Get one! Since these grills don’t seer the meat like a regular grill it’s takes all the guess work out. Don’t know about cold weather but I don’t think it with be an issue like a regular grill. The probes will help with that too. I’ve cooked seafood steaks prime rib etc all with incredible results. Turkey is next and with multiple probes in the bird it should be perfect.

Will these cook some fajitas?

Answer: I've never done fajitas on my Z-Grill but I don't see why not as long as you don't need the temp to be over 450 degrees to cook them. This grill maxes out at about 450 degrees.

Answer: I have made fajitas. I cooked the chicken on the grates and the veggies on a cast-iron griddle I put on top of the grates.

Answer: I don’t know of any other difference besides the stainless and size but I will say this this 1000 is a bad son of a gun it cooks the best food I ever ate restaurants can’t compete with the food I’m pulling off this thing. I literally use it everyday when I’m home from work. I would t take the chance I’d get the 1000 one

Answer: Based on my research, there was little difference other than the size. I love the one I purchase! the 1000 series.

Are these made in usa or china ?

Answer: Don’t matter but it be the best decision you ever made

One review said its too heavy, I mean are ya packing it through the jungle? Any way ya its heavy, and in my opinion it better be stout and it is. This thing will last a long time especially if properly taken care of, so use the cover provided. Cheers for a good product.

Robzilla : Tried new company, Slightly disappointed.

Tried new company, disappointed. Temp control off, starting to rust(were in Southern California) cover is lack luster. We have this stroll for about a month and quality control seems a bit subpar. Reached out to company... see what happens.

Once things get dialed in after lots of time fidgeting around , smokes ok. Maybe it was a faulty faulty unit. Also, directions were for a different unit.

TEMP VARIES QUITE A BIT. SET ON 250 IT WOULD GO ABOVE AND BELOW ABOUT 15 DEGREES BOTH WAYS. THE GREASE DRAIN PAN APPEARS TO BE BENT AND THE GREASE DOESN'T ALL GO TO BUCKET. STURDY BUT WHY IS THE GRAB HANDLE ON THE HOPPER END????? MINE CAME WITH A COVER BUT CAN YOU LEAVE PELLETS IN HOPPER WITH COVER ON OR SHOULD THEY BE REMOVED SO AS NOT TO ABSORB MOISTURE..

This product is extremely dangerous, if you own one never ever walk away from it the temperature control is faulty. They will tell you that that’s just the way it is when you call customer service. This product is extremely dangerous and could cause a fire and seriously injure someone or burn down a structure. Please please please Buy a product that is safe.

Bruce Trapp : nice grill, easy assembly

Read several reviews about difficult assembly but it is really quite simple and they give you all the tools you need, screw drive, wrench and gloves. Control is very simple and holds temp pretty consistent, largest variance after reaching set temp was 7 deg. Grilled my first set of ribs using Z Grill recipe and came out great, going for brisket next.

alkeyes : Customer service is nonexistent

The product is average quality. The only major concern I have is the complete lack of any customer service. I purchased this on Dec 12 for Christmas and only received the top half of the smoker. After 3 failed attempts on returning my smoker for a refund through Pilot, I had to call Z-Grills and order the bottom half again. They only have one number to call that nobody ever answers. After a couple weeks, they finally sent the bottom half promising that it would complete my smoker. They were 9 items short with no grates, wheels or magnetic door closures. After 35 phone call attempts and emails to their national sales manager, I was able to receive one item at a time over another couple weeks. It’s still not complete but at least I’m using it 8 weeks later.

Easy to put together, follow the directions in the manual. Didn't quite keep up to the temp i set it at, but it wasn't the warmest of days. Took me a long time to decide to go with a pellet smoker, I think i'll be glad i did. Just more easy to cook on than my Weber bullets.
