Because of its design it doesn't dry items at the same rate. Even at its highest temp it burns stuff of the botom row and leaves the top wet. I have a presto which is way cheaper and it dries much better

I trusted this 5 stars review without considering the number of reviewers, but found out the truth within the first 2 minutes after turning it on. The went over the spiral melted right away proving that how cheaply it’s made. It wasted my many hours of my time and left me with 6 trays full of sliced fruits.

Great for beef jerky, people at work says it was the best beef jerky they ever eaten. Cooks at 158 degrees for 8 hours and it's adjustable time & temperature wise.

Used it yesterday for about the 5th time, it started okay, when I checked it later there was no airflow and no heat, it had melted the plastic vent in the bottom and pretty much drained my entire solar battery system. A complete waste of money and time.

I really like the high capacity of this dehydrator, but you really need to rotate the shelves during the drying process to get an equal dehydration on each self. I've been told by several others that isn't suppose to be like that.

I did some research before I brought this food dehydrator. Then I made many fruits after I received this unit. Each time I made with my kids, it’s very easy to operate and clean after use. My daughter very love to do it by her own. It’s very nice to make kids snack. I could definitely recommending to my friends.

The process takes about 10-15 hours depends, but the result is well worth it. Turned out to be a good plan! The trays can nest tightly, or further apart if you flip them alternately. I thought that was pretty neat. This food dehydrator help my dry out beef pretty good. It easy to use and easy to clean not like other dehydrator that complicated to clean and use.

Bought one of these for my mother (with the request that she make beef jerky) and it turned out wonderfully! This thing is so easy to use to make beef jerky especially. Buy some meat, marinade it, then pop it in for 7-9 hours and wait. The end result is out of this world. Once you realize how easy it is, you won't stop making that jerky!
