How to use?
1, Plug in the power and turn on the switch.
2, Wait about 30 seconds.
3, Place the open end of the bag into the sealer, then press the sealer about 1 second.
4, Turn off the switch and the power.

Is it good for shrink wrap bags?

Answer: I have not tried on those but I would guess it probably would be

Will this work on high grade cellophane bags?

Answer: Yes

So is this basically a hair straightener they rebranded as a bag sealer?

Answer: No it has crimps. And it doesn’t heat up. Hair straightener would work better. Don’t waste your money

Answer: Same concept however it would not work well on hair. It gets too hot.

It gets to hot and melts the bag in half. There is no way to set the temperature. The longer it's on the hotter it gets.

Even after several minutes plugged in this didn't get hot enough to seal the thinnest of plastic bags. Very disappointed- will be returning!

It’s not good for all sealing. Takes a minute or so to heat up and if your not careful, it will burn holes into the bag or whatever you are sealing. Takes getting use to. I probably wouldn’t buy another when this one dies.

This item doesn't work... It either is too cool and wont seal and/or goes so hot it burns the plastic you want to seal with. I would like a refund on this but since I have my items delivered to Panama through Box Shop and have to use a Miami address - once again I am unable to get a refund as the item cannot be returned to Miami for collection.
