Answer: Yes it does. It's a good yet light seal and you can easily open it without ripping the bag and reseal again. I am very happy with this little sealer. Does what I hoped it would.

Gets the job done. However heats up way too fast. Melts the plastic quickly. Have to turn it off to cool down then turn it back on to finish sealing plastic baggies. So keep that in mind before purchasing or using

Overall wouldn't purchase again... it gets too hot and melts the cello. It only has on/off switch. It would work bettwr if it had a low or high heat setting.
