Answer: Low 110F medium 140F high 175F

Answer: I don't remember a recipe guide but it comes with very specific instructions.

Are the racks dishwasher safe? Are there instructions on how to clean the unit?

Answer: I have put the racks on the top of the dishwasher and they came out fine.

How long does it take to make deer or any kind of jerky?

Answer: Apples 6 hours, mangos 7 hours. Have to roate the trays half way through the time. I haven't used it for meat yet, but the first one I had for beef was about 18 hours rotating the trays several times.

Answer: It depends on the density of the meat, and the thickness of the cut, but I would think at least a day, maybe 2.

Answer: Usually takes about 3 - 4 hours.

What are the equivalent temperatures for low, medium, and high?

Answer: Low feels like room temperature, and I have used the hot setting. Usually I just use the medium setting.

LR : Nice Dehydrator for Money

This is my first dehydrator and my first dried apples. They were good! I did pineapple also; but, I should have done them in chunks and not slices, but we ate them. All-in-all a great machine for price.

AGH : Has good power. We used it to make venison jerky and it does a great job!
