My Vesta handheld quit working after 2 weeks and now I am stuck with 2 boxes of bags. Do any other handhelds work with the vesta bags?
Answer: Many other handheld vaccum sealers will work with these bags - FoodSaver, etc. BTW, have you contacted Vesta Support for help with your defective Handheld Vac 'n Seal? We do warranty our equipment for 2-years.

Answer: Yes they're pretty thick and they have a double sealing strip. they seal very well and you will be satisfied. I've never had one wear out

Answer: I believe they can be used with the FoodSaver handheld vacuum. I know our Handheld Vac 'n Seal works with FoodSaver zippered valve bags.
Answer: Yes. That said, this particular brand of bags did not hold the vaccum. I tried many of the bags and they sealed up fine with the handheld sealer and that worked fine. It's just buy another brand of bags.
