Can each compartment be operated independently? So if I have a small batch to dry, do I need to turn on all four compartments?

Answer: This is seller's answer, It uses 220 Volt for the best function, we can provide 200 to 100V transformer for a cost of $200, but the performance is not guaranteed.

Answer: There are controls to set the temperature and the humidity for this unit. Upon turning on, there is a default setting for 24 hrs for the automatic shut-off timer. Of course, this setting can be adjusted to less time, if desired.
