Tony Minard : Would love to be able to count on this knife. But keep getting disappointed!

I loved this knife while it worked. I purchased one about 3 years ago and absolutely loved it for the 6 months that it worked. At about the 6 month mark it wouldn’t charge. It was lightly used so I figured I might have gotten a lemon. I liked this knife so much and thought I’d just eat the cost and get another. I bought not 1 but 2 brand new knives (hoping to speed up my fishing buddy) both have lasted less than a year!!!! Strike one, strike two, & STRIKE THREE! Never will I own the fourth unless, rapala volunteers to make this right.
Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but what? Plug the charger into the wall, and into the knife, NOTHING!!!! As of now I consider these complete junk. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone! They are damn near disposable.
