I ended up buying 4 of these for a camping trip. They are very smooth and very high quality.

Nice looking and very solid reel. Very smooth and quiet winding. Great quality at such a low price. I removed the felt drag washers and replaced with teflon washers I punch out myself. Smooth drag now but it wasn't with the felt washers. I put reel on a 7' 15-25lb rod and spooled reel with 40lb braid getting around 250-275yds on it.

I wanted to leave a review on the 6000 as well as the same day my 7000 was delivered I purchased the 6000. Same results, Nice reels, very happy.

This reel is surprisingly solid and we'll built. I wanted a rod and reel strictly for sheepshead fishing and the 5000 size handles big sheepshead pretty well. Nice smooth drag, and I like the oversized knob on the handle. Not bad for the money. Not spending $2-300 for a reel unless it's for working lures all day long.
