Jim Wiczynski : Reel Snapped off at the handle

I was fishing for about two hours today. I was reeling in my line when all of a sudden I heard a snap. The reel handle completely snapped off the pole. I have been fishing for several years and this has never happened to me before. i have fished in the ocean, a lake, and the river and had never seen this. I am disappointed in the product. Fortunately, I did not have a fish on my hook.
