what size hook?

Answer: Alot of manufacturers differ in the hook sizes, so i will give you the dimensions. The length of the jig (shank) is approximately 2.5" and the gap of the hook is roughly 3/4"

do these bucktails have a keeper so the railer does not slip off on short strikes?

Answer: They have a single wire keeper. Held gulps well.

took these on a recent trip to a local so cal reservoir where we used these to vertical jig for postspawn LMB on ledges and skipped them under docks. We caught four 2-3 lb bass using these it with a paddletail soft plastic.
