The jigs worked well on our Canada fishing trip, where we fished primarily for Walleye. It's worth inspecting the hooks before going out fishing, as the eyes for the line were often closed off with paint. Clean them out before taking to the water, and you will save yourself some hassles. The hooks themselves are of moderate quality at best, and will bend open a bit when landing a larger fish (we used a landing net). We baited these jigs with a small twister tail and a live minnow. We went through several jigs on a daily basis, both due to the hook bending open and to the hooks needing to be re-sharpened.
