New to fishing. I understand I need small hooks for brook/river trout. What is the hook size and do they weigh enough to get deep enough for trout?

Answer: These are actually fine for trout. Thinking they were much larger I was intending to use them for pike or bass. They are a good size for larger trout

Answer: i dont have a access to them right now, but heads up i was surprised how small and specifically short they are.

2nd buying option, 10 piece, what is the weight? Does body get rust in saltwater? Ring and hook don't matter, they can be replaced. Thank you.

Answer: The lure themselves are made of iron but coated with an zinc alloy, so if there isnt any nicks they will not rust -- but will over time due to eventual use and abuse from being in taklebox, and being banged around. The wieght I'm really not sure of the size you have but they go from 1/4 oz to 1.5oz

The metal is acceptable, but the hooks are a freaking joke. DO NOT use if you want to catch any fish above 1 lb unless you change those flimsy hooks and rings. I'm not kidding....
