New to fishing. I understand I need small hooks for brook/river trout. What is the hook size and do they weigh enough to get deep enough for trout?

Answer: These are actually fine for trout. Thinking they were much larger I was intending to use them for pike or bass. They are a good size for larger trout

Answer: 5g 7g 10g

What is the length of the lure?

Answer: i dont have a access to them right now, but heads up i was surprised how small and specifically short they are.

2nd buying option, 10 piece, what is the weight? Does body get rust in saltwater? Ring and hook don't matter, they can be replaced. Thank you.

Answer: The lure themselves are made of iron but coated with an zinc alloy, so if there isnt any nicks they will not rust -- but will over time due to eventual use and abuse from being in taklebox, and being banged around. The wieght I'm really not sure of the size you have but they go from 1/4 oz to 1.5oz

If ya want to save some money form local tackle store. Get this. The ONLY PROBLEM is the triple hook size need to be adjust depends on the situation. You might need some differ sizes triple hooks.

Every time I go fishing with these, I catch a bass. Average length around 14 inches. And you get a good amount so if you lose one or many, you still have a good bit left over. Definitely recommend.

I've used these multiple times on different fishing outings. They work as they should. The only gripe I really had is the way they are shipped. The issue isn't necessarily with the container, but that they put 2 in each bin. So during shipping the lures will touch one another and get scratched and knicked up. Perhaps they could put some sort of paper around them, or something else that would prohibit this from happening during shipping.

These things work good in the lakes around my house. I usually use big worms but decided to use these a couple days after I got in mail. I was catching fish like crazy, in different spots.

I will need to invest a lot more time to fully evaluate the #kastmaster style spoons, but I am very pleased with the machining and bait body finishes. The trebles and split rings are matched perfectly to the lure size and they cast a mile. I tried snap jigging them and got Bluegill and a Buffalo, definitely whom I was after, but Walleye and Trout as well as Northern Pike LOVE the shiny flutter these spoons have on the drop (which is also when you get the strikes) needless to say in a thick school there will be occasional snagged individual fish, but that is to be expected with all heavy duty hardware in cold water when fish are piled up tight in deep holes.

Donald Hecht : A Great Bargain

These lures are equal in quality to Kastmaster spoons but at a small fraction of the price. As a shore fishermen, I'm known for decorating the trees with my miscasted lures. Now I have a backup supply of an essential lure in my tackle box. Here on Long Island these spoons also work great in saltwater for small bluefish (snappers). I'm set for the season.
