Answer: Medium or heavier action rod, 10+ lb line on a spinner of baitcaster is my recommendation. I prefer to sling them on my medium-heavy 12-17lb 7ft baitcaster setup with 30lb braid and a 20lb leader.

These lures looks great. The organizer is nice too. Finally had a chance to try them out. They are indeed snag free and glide/swim right through weeds.
However, 2 of the frogs filled with water and then sank on their first cast, which totally ruins the action of the lure. Thus the low rating. I’m going to try filling the sinking frogs with stryofoam.

I got this kit on a lightning deal. Overall they're pretty good baits. It could use a bit tighter seals around the legs/tassels. I had to squeeze water out every couple of casts to keep them floating. I've had some strikes on the one with legs and the one with a carbon fiber look, but haven't landed anything yet. I'll try them some more this upcoming season.

So realistic that my 13 year old daughter could barely resist biting it. I handed it to her and she almost bit it before realizing that would be a bad idea. Have yet to catch a bass on one yet tho does seem to move well in the water and threw fairly heavy cover without snagging up too bad

Caught my pb snakehead with the brown one the first time I bought them and his teeth didn't even rip or tear the frog. However I lost it in a tree since then...3 actually lol so I ordered more. These are great for Large Mouth Bass. It is a multi use type of bait. Can be Texas rigged, Carolina, or even Drop Shot application. A great overall bait. Would highly recommend!

Pretty good frogs. A couple sink faster than others but not too bad. 3-4 casts worth and a squeeze gets them right on top again . Stinky plastic but the bass don’t seem to care. Hooks are plenty sharp. You can always boil them a bit before fishing and the plastic body will soften right up. Nice sharp hooks

These frogs are hard to beat for the price. They float well and catch bass, but not sure how durrable they wil be. If you want a different color belly, use scented markers. While the hooks are sharp, they are not as sturdy as on more expensive models, but I've landed bass to 6.25 lbs. and not bent them out. With these deals, I got 10 frogs for the price of 2 better brands. If you are fishing for hogs, use the sturdier brands, but these do work pretty well.

My canal is covered in weeds and has been making fishing so aggravating. Then I found these awesome frog lures. I can cast on top of the weeds and pull it through, without a snag. I can cast the lure on the opposite bank and slowly drop it in, so as not to cause a big splash - no weeds/grass! Works like a charm.
Now, my only problem.....I haven't caught a fish yet. I'm still optimistic, because I love the hook placement, which never fouls in the weeds.

One hit on the dark green lure and he is living out the rest of his life with a gimp leg. I was not impressed with how the frogs swam and have used more expensive frog lures that legit move just like a frog. These just aren’t those kind of lures. Don’t get me wrong, you can still catch fish on them, I just wasn’t impressed.

I’ve bought these frogs twice now. They are top notch. They have features that you just can’t find in stores. For example there is one of them that has a little spoon on the bottom to add some extra flash, and another is a super rare grey that catches huge fish. The one legged frog is just like a LH. I would recommend to anyone who loves top water blowups. Which is everyone.

They seem to be good quality. I tried using them for a little while, but I didn’t have any weedless hooks.

TWO CENT : They Sink and require much adjustment!!!
They are much smaller than expected. Other brands state the size in the specs. These frogs lool good and are soft. Hooks are lighter gauge than better brands and are ot bent evenly. The worse part is that they will submerge before you retrieve halfway. You will need to do a bit of hook bending and hole sealing and then these will be fine.

Very good action and very similar to top name brands as far as the top colors go. The belly on all were the same color which is what the fish see.That's not a bad thing if you were to buy 5 frogs of the same belly color, this is cheaper. I'm planing on air bushing the bellies close to the top color (or adjacent to the top) to make them different.
Plastics is very soft, so hook set shouldn't be much of an issue and some slight modifications to widen the hooks outwards will benefit the hookup ratio.

Great to expose the young whipper snappers to lifting bucketmouths out of the thick grass. However, haven't caught a fish with one, but haven't used it yet either so there that, it might be unreal!

Just received them today so this review is based on presentation only. I’ll update after first time using them. Presentation is like all the other reviews they’re pretty awesome looking. Just the right softness to allow proper hook sets. Color is close to real looking without actually being real
So based on first impression I’d say take a chance and try them

Mark : Worth it
Pretty good frogs. A couple sink faster than others but not too bad. 3-4 casts worth and a squeeze gets them right on top again . Stinky plastic but the bass don’t seem to care. Hooks are plenty sharp. You can always boil them a bit before fishing and the plastic body will soften right up. Nice sharp hooks

Use these on a fishing trip and they did well. Lots of hits and fish. Filled with water quickly so you have to squeeze it out almost every cast.

Was excited to get these to try out this weekend. Well I hooked it up and threw it out.. After the second cast iit sank. Reeled it back up. Its full of water.. Squeeze it and the water shoots out and is good for 2 cast before it sinks again. Tried a different one. Same thing.. I have used other hollow body frogs and they never did this so often, if at all.
Due to this issue I can not give it a high rating. But they look good, Hooks are sharp and when they work they work well..

B.T.S. : Not a bad set for the price
I got this kit on a lightning deal. Overall they're pretty good baits. It could use a bit tighter seals around the legs/tassels. I had to squeeze water out every couple of casts to keep them floating. I've had some strikes on the one with legs and the one with a carbon fiber look, but haven't landed anything yet. I'll try them some more this upcoming season.

Just got them the other day, haven’t had a chance to splash any yet, however, I’m very impressed by their lifelike appearance. Also, they have a very soft body, exposing the hooks very easily. Legs seem durable, but we all know how that goes, the Bass are ruthless on those appendages ????

My frogs arrived on time and in great shape. The frogs were the ones in the description and are in a nice case. I fished 2 of them today and caught a couple of largemouth bass. The hooks are sharp and they walk well. I would recommend.

1 out if the 5 had a defective hook. Was bent so far down it would have missed every time.
These also take on a lot of water which defeat the purpose. You cant have to keep squeezing them after every cast. It’s a nuisance. (If you don’t squeeze them, they sink and don't float/pop)
The hollow body moves too easy. Just like taking on water i had to adjust the body on the hook frame frequently.
