sam smith : 1st time outing and it completely fell apart.

Finally took it out surf fishing, accidentally dropped it once. Tried rinsing it out with a bottle water I had at the time, to no avail. The reel completely seized as soon as the sand got into it. It wouldn't spin and the locking mechanism didn't work. Tried to take it apart to see what actually got inside the reel when I got home. The nut stripped and spun on the shaft, rendering it completely useless. It's my fault for dropping the reel. Obviously, I'm not expecting much out of it, I'm actually comparing it to a $20 combo from walmart that survived couple of trips out surf fishing, but the build quality is unbelievably poor.
