The redesigned Lew’s Fishing Mach 1 Speed Spin Combo is built with balance and speed in mind. The reel features a 10 bearing system and with a superfast 6.2:1 gear ratio. The gears are solid brass Speed Gears and the drag system is smooth, even when cranked down. The rod is constructed of IM8 graphite and features a Lew’s exclusive soft touch reel seat.

The rod is a one-piece IM8 graphite blank that sports a Winn Dri-Tac Handle, Lew’s custom graphite reel seat and guides constructed with durable stainless steel frames and aluminum oxide inserts. The reel was designed after our ever-popular SLP frame platform, which is 10% smaller than traditional speed spools. Internally the Mach I has solid brass Speed Gears and a 8-bearing system that is always smooth.
