My son loves dried apples and pears. at $10.00 a bag in the store this machine will pay for itself in 30 days. he made beef jerky once and I was surprised on how good it tasted

If you are looking for a well built product this is it. Metal everything. It is quite and easy to clean. We have been using it constantly since we received it. Apples pears mangoes and jerky have been the popular choices. Great product

Works better than any dehydrator I have ever used. It gets warm, we set it on our back porch to help keep our house cool. We haven't had problems with racoons or insects getting into it, may be because they avoid heated items.

Will not turn on. I was sold a defective unit that was previously returned by a woman in May. Her receipt was in the instruction manual. The recipe book was not helpful at all as it did not give me times and temps for basic food dehydrating. The book was obviously used.

racks wont stay in place have to put tin foil on them or they fall right down. this model is very quiet however and dries very well. only issue is the racks not staying in place without foil on sides
