what do you use for fuel?

Answer: Use wood pellet that you would use in your pellet grill. The idea is to enhance the smoke flavor in the meats you are cooking. Fill the tubes first with pellets. Then fill your pellet grill with what you are using in your smoke tubes. Start heating up the grill and then lite your smoke tubes. Go to YouTube for easier ways to use the smoke tubes.

Answer: Use whatever pellet you want to use. A pellet grill will not match the smoke flavor in meats that a smoker can, hence this is why I bought them. They work great. Dont pack them too tightly, the pellets will not stay lit. Reccomend getting a pair of heat gloves for BBQ (grill/smokers) when using your smoke tubes. Mike

These worked like a dream. I suggest hanging them from a rack. I took one and hung it and it burned perfect. I took the other and laid it on its side on a rack and it didn't burn very well at all. I used them to cold smoke cheese and it came out awesome! They are so easy to use and clean up was a snap.
