1. Level 3-4.5 is enough for most applications.
2. The red light is not predictable when plug into the power. It is only predictable when keep the handle pressed down on bottom. This is a protection for sealer or it will burn out after several uses.
3.When the signal light is off automatically, keeping the handle pressed down for 2-3.5 seconds would get optimal results.Otherwise the sealing place will be not smooth.
4.Keep the sealer's surface clean to avoid the oxidation of the residue which will reduce the life of the heat sealing strip.

1.Kindly pls reading Instruction manual carefully and To adjust the temperature that you need when using it for the first time.
2.Higher settings don't necessarily always mean a stronger seal.We recommend starting low and gradually increasing your settings from 2.5-4.5 temperature grade for the different thick bags,it's better don't exceed 5 Grade temperature.
3.Do not use wet cloth to clean the surface of heat sealing strip,after 30 minutes of continuous use, try to let the machine rest about 5-10 minutes.
4.The sealing machine cannot be placed in where blankets, clothes, etc. That cannot dissipate heat. It is recommended to place it on the table top.
5.When using this machine in the summer, we recommend that the temperature be lowered by one level than in winter and keep an eye on the temperature of the bottom cover.
6.It's better for sealing the PP,PE bags,but can't cut the bags.

You need to hold down the handle for about 7 seconds and then move the bag to a new position and reseal once or twice more. We even flipped our bags over to get them to seal better. The sealer did go bad after about 6 weeks. We had sparks and all. We ended up sending it back and now use a standard straightening iron which works magnificently!

From the moment I received the sealer, it was not creating a consistent sealed line. It skipped in many areas.
The mesh covering the metal strip that heats up has to be firmly stretched over the metal strip.
For that, you have to remove the screws on only one side to remove the metal guard that holds the mesh down.
Once I could reach the mesh, I used double sided tape under it and stretched it down over the tape. Then just screw the metal guard down again and it should work fine.
You should periodically scrape the metal heating strip with a razor because it will have plastic build up.
The mesh covering the metal strip that heats up has to be firmly stretched over the metal strip.
For that, you have to remove the screws on only one side to remove the metal guard that holds the mesh down.
Once I could reach the mesh, I used double sided tape under it and stretched it down over the tape. Then just screw the metal guard down again and it should work fine.

Lorrie andrews : Quit working after just a few uses. I replaced heating element too, still not functional.
This worked for a couple of days and then quit. It still lights up and slightly warms but it no longer cuts the bag off or heats enough to form a seal. If I turn the heat up it burns the plastic in places, turning it black, while not sealing in other places. I replaced the heating element that it comes with, still not working. I’ve had too long to return, as I didn’t start using it right away. So now I get to throw it away along with my money. Save yours! Not worth it.

I got this sealer to compliment my vacuum sealer. While I was hoping for a wide seal area, it is actually a quite narrow seal. But that's fine, still faster than the Vac when setting up multiple bags.
Just be careful to dial it in just right. The first few tries did not give a water/air tight seal due to small gaps in the seal. After fiddling with it, it now does the job.
Finally, be sure to wait a few seconds after light goes off before releasing handle or you can ruin the seal. It works well, but the seals are slightly weaker compared to the Vac.

So cheaply made and literally broke after the first couple times of using. I was able to fix it the “first” time it broke but then it broke again after that and I gave up. I would have to hold the handle down at a weird angle just to get it to work. Another issue is that the heat doesn’t stay consistent. After sealing about 3-4 bags it just starts warping the bags no matter what heat level I turn it down to. This will be going in the trash. I just purchased a different one that was double the price but looks to be so much more sturdy.

First,It's so easy to use,you just need to press the handle then you can hear the tick when seal is done and waiting 2.5-3.5 seconds to get seals optimal results for bag's sealing place smooth. But I'll mention briefly is that higher settings don't necessarily always mean a stronger seal. I recommend starting low and gradually increasing your settings from 2.5-4.5 temperature grade for the different thick bags.
Althought it takes a few trial and error takes to get the setting just right for the bags you are using, but once you get that, packaging cookies are a breeze! It does create and air tight seal, so make sure you remove some of the air from the bag before sealing if you are shipping so the bag doesn't pop in transit.
It comes with replacement consumable parts as well, so its bound to last for a long time - its one of the best purchases we've made to package chocolates, cookies and candies.

This worked for a couple of days and then quit. It still lights up and slightly warms but it no longer cuts the bag off or heats enough to form a seal. If I turn the heat up it burns the plastic in places, turning it black, while not sealing in other places. I replaced the heating element that it comes with, still not working. I’ve had too long to return, as I didn’t start using it right away. So now I get to throw it away along with my money. Save yours! Not worth it.

I purchased this so I wouldn't need to use my FoodSaver every time I needed to just seal something without vacuum packaging. This is very easy to use, very quick, but the seal is a very thin line. I like that I can adjust the seal time, but my FoodSaver usually does a better seal.

My sealer stopped working after 2 months. I thought it has the bags but after purchasing new bags I realized it was the sealer. It wouldn’t full seal, it would have holes or the whole seam would open up. I cleaned it and changed the strip but it still kept happening. Very disappointing!!!

I got a few things to share. I was looking heat sealer for shrinking plastic and I bought this Vimi heat sealer mainly because I was limited in budget. I was amazed that it had so many good reviews but not so satisfied when I received them. First, it looks CHEAP. The machine barely worked. It was doing okay with thin shrinking plastic but not so ideal with thick ones. I literally have to do double sealing which was time-consuming. Also, sometimes, it would have a problem heating up. Overall. taking too long to do the sealing job.

I have purchased one of these in the past and that’s all he’s worked great until recently and force me to purchase a new one. The only downside with this one is the cord is 2 feet shorter than the one I purchased before so I had to rearrange to be able to reach the outlet

The bag is sealed within three seconds, and the key is finding the right temperature for the right thickness of material. You can easily seal the bag once you get the hang of the right temperatures for different materials.

This product didn't work straight out of the box. Purchased the item a month ago tried to use it recently and guess what? that right it would not power on. Also the knob that turn the heating element up or down is very flimsy. Sent an email asking for help with the product, haven't heard any thus far, although it only been two weeks.
