A bit overpriced for what you get, and the assembly instructions are terrible, but it’s a must have to get this cooker up to a usable level. Happy with how it functions and the wheels make it easy to move into storage. It would be nice if they simply included these when you order the cooker.

This stand was great for raising my MB electric smoker off the ground. The materials are good and sturdy. However the two wheels weren't properly drilled in the center, so after mounting them, one wheel rolls perfectly while the other rubs on the stand. I will have to modify the wheel or the stand leg to make it work as it should.

Tripp : Very sturdy but vague instructions
The instructions for this leg extension kit is basically useless. The print is very small, it doesn't show detail, and it doesn't even call out where pieces go. The leg extension kit itself is very strong and made from durable materials. It puts my 30" MES at the perfect height and I no longer have to pick it up and move it when I want to use it or when I put it up now that I can wheel it around. If the instructions were more clear or actually showed what holes to put the bolts in (there are several potential threaded holes on the bottom of my smoker so I had to do it by trial and error) then I would have given 5 stars.

This item works fine as a riser for my Masterbuilt 20071117 electric smoker, but was a pain to install. For some reason, the pieces didn't create an exact fit, and required me to bend the legs somewhat. I eventually got it attached on all four corners, but it's not quite square with the smoker. If you're really picky about aesthetics, I'm not sure this will please you. I was more concerned with saving my back by not having to stoop over every time I use the smoker, so it's fine for me.

Very bad instructions so you are on your own to figure it out. The misc washers BTW are to use when installing on the smoker as the holes on this stand are way too large for the bolts that come with the smoker when utilizing their plastic front legs. You don't use the plastic front legs on the smoker with this stand. It is very well made with all aluminum and the rear wheels make it easy to move around on your patio.

Installed this on my Masterbuilt smoker that didn't have any wheels or anything, it just had levelers under it. Installed without a problem and without any modifications. Only thing I wish this came with though was a handle modification to add a handle on the backside of smokers that didn't have wheels in the first place. It is very awkward trying to move the smoker now using the wheels because there is nothing to grab onto on the smoker. Other than that, it is really nice and placed the smoker higher in a more convenient location to access.

Wheel pins were not burred well, had to file them down to fit. No clear assembly labels on parts, the brackets connecting the legs are different lengths and are not indicated on the assembly instructions very well. Bolts connecting legs to brackets do not include lock nuts or lock washers, will need to be tightened yearly. Took about an hour to assemble.

I really don't see how people don't understand the instructions. It has technical drawings for different smokers and it's in multiple languages. The only reason it might be hard or a mistake made is not taking the time to go over your hardware and manual. My smoker's model number was not listed, but it fit and it makes it look handsome.

Though there were difficulties in reading the ultra small type on the instruction manual. In the process I couldn't get the stand to bolt up. I had to install a magnifying glass for my smart phone. It worked. The instruction manual shows support brackets of 30 and 40. I took that to mean CM. However, there were 2 at 41cm, 2 at 45cm, and two at 58cm. None were 40cm. The four that you use are the 41cm and 45cm. It would have been good if the instructions said that.

The universal legs allows it to fit either the 30 or 40 inch master built smokers. They were very easy to install simply install all nuts and bolts loosely and tighten them all up once it is all together. Having the smoker lifted almost a foot off the ground make it much easier to get the racks in and out.
This was a very nice addition to my smoker. The legs make a nice solid base. I would recommend this product for 30 or 40 inch master built smokers, the wheels make it easy to move the smoker around if you want to move it. Installation took about 10 minutes, Very easy to install.

Installing the leg kit to my smoker went fairly smoothly except that I had to buy a few extra screws and nuts because my kit did not have enough. After installation, though, it elevates the smoker so that it makes the smoker more convenient to deal with and easier to clean underneath.

I also have the MES30. I read the reviews and bought this anyways. I don’t hate it, I just wish it fit a little better. I did as recommended and kept the legs loose to get everything together. That did help a lot. But as you can see from the pics the legs just don’t sit flush to the smoker. The legs are also not level so it wobbles. It’s sturdy and the wheels are a great addition to the smoker. It’s just driving my OCD a little crazy. If they made one FOR my smoker, I would have bought it. I like the stand and will use it, but you only get three stars because it doesn’t fit correctly and isn’t level.

Not entirely universal. It didn't completely fit my 30" Masterbuilt electric smoker, but I could make it work with a little customization, leaving a piece off, having the company send me an extra piece, and a little extra persuasion. It is great not having to lean over to the ground to use the smoker and being able to roll it around, but it took a while to get it installed, and it still is not to factory specs, because it just didn't fit my smoker, even though it says universal.

I bought a new MB20071117 Digital Electric smoker and was shocked at how bad the instructions were. I have always had Bradley smokers and I suppose I thought that Masterbuilt would be of an equivalent standard. The smoker looked ridiculous on the ground and so I ordered this 'universal' leg kit. I defy ANYONE to make it fit the MB20071117. I spent two hours and had the front legs in every possible combination. Even with the back legs installed and a side bar in place, it was impossible to find any position where the holes in the front legs would line up in order to fix the side bar. I would consider myself very good at installing and assembling but this was impossible. The instructions are incredibly bad - actually even worse than the smoker. The whole thing is back in the box and going back to Amazon. I will just make my own base. There is NOWHERE you can go to check the compatibility of these legs with the smokers and judging by comments all over the place, I am not the first to find that it simply does not fit.

Works as expected and convenient. Only issue I have is since I’ve installed this, the smoker leaks from the front 2 legs where they attach to the unit. Possibly because the screws went in too far but no warning about that in instructions

Frank : Makes it easier to use the smoker
There seems to be a bit of confusion on assembly of this. The way i did it was i laid the smoker upside down. put on the 4 legs, making sure the legs with wheels are on the rear of the smoker. Tighten the bolts hand tight so the legs can still move a bit. There are 6 braces in the kit, pick the set of 4 that match the leg spacing. Tighten each leg hand tight. After all pieces are mounted tighten the legs, then tighten the braces (the braces are slotted holes and will take up any slop in the assembly). About the only thing i used the instructions for was to tell what fasteners to use. I like how the smoker is sup off the ground now and i dont have to bend all the way down. Was the stand really a necessity, no but it is a nice extra.

It’s sturdy and the wheels are a great addition to the smoker. It’s just driving my OCD a little crazy. If they made one FOR my smoker, I would have bought it. I like the stand and will use it, but you only get three stars because it doesn’t fit correctly and isn’t level.

After some struggles and some breathing exercises my husband was able to get it on his smoker. He likes the height on it and that’s what matters.

This item works fine as a riser for my Masterbuilt 20071117 electric smoker, but was a pain to install. For some reason, the pieces didn't create an exact fit, and required me to bend the legs somewhat. I eventually got it attached on all four corners, but it's not quite square with the smoker. If you're really picky about aesthetics, I'm not sure this will please you. I was more concerned with saving my back by not having to stoop over every time I use the smoker, so it's fine for me.

Very bad instructions so you are on your own to figure it out. The misc washers BTW are to use when installing on the smoker as the holes on this stand are way too large for the bolts that come with the smoker when utilizing their plastic front legs. You don't use the plastic front legs on the smoker with this stand. It is very well made with all aluminum and the rear wheels make it easy to move around on your patio.

I bought my son a master built electric smoker for Christmas. I am so glad that I bought this to add to it. The material is strong and well-made it raises up the smoker to a good level so you aren’t bending down so much. You’d have to be on your knees at seven points if you didn’t have it. Also I like the space that it looks some airflow through underneath. The only thing is that in assembling it we had some difficulty. There are different size bars so there will be extra that you won’t use. And it’s not real clear on which ones you need for your smoker. We figured it out. The instructions are not the best but they are not the worst. The biggest issue that I had was you really do have to put things in a certain order. I tried so many things I honestly don’t know what I did when I finally got it to share with you, but what I can say is if you’re having trouble getting things to line up just try different things. I had the right bars in the right spot so you would think no matter if you attach them together and then to the smoker or vice versa it should be the same thing but it’s not. But we got them on and are very happy!!!

Despite other reviews mentioning this item does not fit the Masterbuilt MB20071117 Digital Electric Smoker, 30 inch, Black... it certainly does! 100%. And it also was installed in under 15 minutes.

I have the Masterbuilt Signature Series 40 inch smoker Model # 20076515 and the kit fit great. I did have one problem with a cross brace that had an interference condition on the back leg. So I had to modify the brace slightly by removing some metal from the edge of the part. This required a hack saw and a machinists vice on my workbench. This was no problem for me but might be for someone else. That's the only reason it didn't get five stars. The kit itself was well packed and organized. The parts are well made, sturdy enough for the task and nice fit and finish. The instructions are really inadequate if someone is looking for a lot of detailed instruction. These instructions are basically pictures and you have to figure out how to make it look like the picture. Again, for me it wasn't a problem because I have a lot of experience with parts, manufacturing, assembly, etc. But I can see why some of the comments expressed frustration.

They are very sturdy and provide just the right amount of additional height. The kit provides all the pieces to fit either the 30" or 40" electric smoker. Yes, the assembly instructions are vague, to say the least, but this was not difficult to put together. I bought it for $32.95 but see the price has now jumped to $59.99

We tried for hours without success to assemble this so that it would fit properly on the bottom of the new 30" smoker we bought at the same time (and we would not have purchased the grill if we could not add the legs to raise it and make it easy to move around.) The instructions consisted only of 3 very poor and incorrect illustrations that were so small, they were almost impossible to see, anyway. No guidance was provided of which of the many holes on each bracket would work for the 30" smoker, or which length of the bars to use - and we were not able to find the magic combination of holes and bars that would work. Very frustrated and disappointed in the end, as we are mechanically minded and have never experienced failure Ike this before..
The Librarian : Not Entirely Universal
Not entirely universal. It didn't completely fit my 30" Masterbuilt electric smoker, but I could make it work with a little customization, leaving a piece off, having the company send me an extra piece, and a little extra persuasion. It is great not having to lean over to the ground to use the smoker and being able to roll it around, but it took a while to get it installed, and it still is not to factory specs, because it just didn't fit my smoker, even though it says universal.

Stand is well made and durable. It fit my Masterbuilt 130|B electric smoker just fine. My only issue is the instructions. They are not very clear. No instructions, just pictures that are printed so small, you about need a magnifying glass

I bought a new MB20071117 Digital Electric smoker and was shocked at how bad the instructions were. I have always had Bradley smokers and I suppose I thought that Masterbuilt would be of an equivalent standard. The smoker looked ridiculous on the ground and so I ordered this 'universal' leg kit. I defy ANYONE to make it fit the MB20071117. I spent two hours and had the front legs in every possible combination. Even with the back legs installed and a side bar in place, it was impossible to find any position where the holes in the front legs would line up in order to fix the side bar. I would consider myself very good at installing and assembling but this was impossible. The instructions are incredibly bad - actually even worse than the smoker. The whole thing is back in the box and going back to Amazon. I will just make my own base. There is NOWHERE you can go to check the compatibility of these legs with the smokers and judging by comments all over the place, I am not the first to find that it simply does not fit.

Works as expected and convenient. Only issue I have is since I’ve installed this, the smoker leaks from the front 2 legs where they attach to the unit. Possibly because the screws went in too far but no warning about that in instructions

The instructions are useless, a better exploded diagram would have been useful. They make the stand to fit several models as a result there are like six holes in each leg with no instructions on which set fit which model.
Best process was to assemble the side supports and then with the smoker upside down on its top, line up which holes work best.
Once assembled, it does what it's intended, gives you a good working height. Frustrating assembly.

Navy Chuck : A little tricky to assemble
They don't tell you or indicate well on the assembly instructions that there are two different sizes you can make with this kit. A little tricky assembling to get it squared up. I foresaw the bottoms of the legs getting scratched by use and then rusting. So, I contact cemented plastic pads cut to fit the bottom of each leg. Once installed, you can't easily tilt the smoker back to wheel it around. The manufacturer sells a handle for the back of the smoker as a replacement part and it is well worth the few bucks to make the smoker portable.

You must remove off the existing screws from the bottom of your smoker and add the legs using the screws provided by this product. It will be easier on you, no need to use the existing screws that the smoker came with.
If you use your smoker frequently, this will make it easier for you to use.

There seems to be a bit of confusion on assembly of this. The way i did it was i laid the smoker upside down. put on the 4 legs, making sure the legs with wheels are on the rear of the smoker. Tighten the bolts hand tight so the legs can still move a bit. There are 6 braces in the kit, pick the set of 4 that match the leg spacing. Tighten each leg hand tight. After all pieces are mounted tighten the legs, then tighten the braces (the braces are slotted holes and will take up any slop in the assembly). About the only thing i used the instructions for was to tell what fasteners to use. I like how the smoker is sup off the ground now and i dont have to bend all the way down. Was the stand really a necessity, no but it is a nice extra.

Was afraid it might not be sturdy enough but I am very pleased with the extension kit. Once you figure out which holes and arms to use, assembly is a snap. Made smoking and cleaning a lot easier!!!!

My dad bought a Masterbuilt smoker, but the only bad thing about it was that it sat right on the ground. My dad said it would be a little difficult for him to get up and down that low while taking food in and out of the smoker. After he bought his smoker, I bought myself a Masterbuilt smoker on Amazon Prime Day(got a great bargain!), but mine came with these legs. Once my dad saw mine, he had me find him some on Amazon and order them for him. He installed them in a very short time with no problems. It raises the smoker up nicely and gets it off the ground! Recommended for price, ease of assembly and functionality.

This stand is extra sturdy and super easy to assemble. It took about half an hour to assemble with only a screwdriver, a socket wrench and a regular wrench. I rolled my digital electric smoker around after and it moves easily. Fully assembled, the smoker sits level and there is no shaking or wobble when I open the door or slide the racks in or out. A must have for anyone who owns a Masterbuilt electric smoker.
MDWV : Fit perfectly on my model 20070910.
Fit perfectly on my model 20070910. I've seen other reviews that stated it did not fit this particular model which almost kept me from ordering it. Some of the reviews also stated that the instructions were not very good. I think what happened to the other reviewer is that because the instructions are not well written they mistakenly used the support arms for the 40 inch model instead of the support arms for the 30 inch model. Since this is designed as a "universal fit product", I can see that easily happening. Just be sure when you are installing it on your particular smoker you use the correct support arms to fit the length of spacing needed for your model. As you can see from my pictures the grease-dripping catch-pan fits perfectly.
Having wheels on this unit is priceless!
My only complaints are that the instructions are not written very well and the pictures are tiny making identification of the parts and their location / orientation harder. I would also have liked it if the design Incorporated the original leveling bolts from the factory.

Where to begin. First off it took almost 2 months to get this after I ordered my smoker. Didn't think it would matter, but it does because you have to stand your smoker upside down to install the legs. Not really possible in some models with a top display that isn't flush with the top of the smoker. Finally got it rested on a pillow to protect the display.

The legs connect to the body of the smoker with only one point of contact which makes it very difficult to get them to stay put while you do the braces.

We like the stand after we got it installed, very difficult to install. The instructions are not much help. Here is a suggestion that made our installation go a lot easier. Before you try to install the legs to the smoker install the front, back, & side brackets to the legs, this way it helps to line up the legs when you install the legs to the smoker. I would have given 5 stars but for the installation.
