Answer: Yes 6’ radius and a 12’ diameter. Or 6’ from horn. This net lasted me 4 years of constant use and I just now retired it and bought a new one.

I don't know how big a diameter I could stretch it to on a floor, but casting, it does not open much more than 6 ft; certainly not 12 ft. So, I would say the mfgr. spec. of 6 ft is close to correct.

There seems to be a discrepancy on whether is is 6 ft in radius or diameter...Radius is from center to edge...Which is it???

Answer: The one I received is 6 foot radius and a 12 foot diameter . Overall quality was very good .I have been satisfied with it so far .

Answer: Yes it has a long rope with a loop you can cinch on your wrist. It's perfect for catching minnows,shrimp, and mullet from the shore or boat.

This thing is garbage, on the first cast the net tore (casting on a muddy bottom in 20 ft of water so no snags) and on the second cast the horn separated from the net, and of course no returns after it touches the water I'll never purchase this product again..

it is not that easy as it claims to be. It was inexpensive compaired to other nets so I took a chance. I also found out that 12 feet across is not big enough, unless you can throw perfect circle when it hits the water. I haven't used it even though I am a proud owner of this casting net.

This is the perfect diameter net for a beginner to toss with just the right sized lead weights so that it drops quickly to the bottom. The 3/8" size of the netting is perfect for trapping bait fish and larger fish and the fish are easy to unload from the net into a bait bucket.

It works great., I've never used one before now but my cousin I used to go fishing with used a small one all the time. I thought I would have trouble casting it but it came with basic instructions that was easy to follow.

Just an ok net but did not expect much more for the price. Opens ok but not fully as will not lay flat, even when stretched by hand. Very short rope for this size net. Needed something in a low price range for bank netting bait on rocky shore line, thus satisfied for the price. If your looking to get a net that opens fully and easily I would suggest spending a few more dallors and looking into BETTS OLD SALT Nets.
