What is the scent?

Answer: They weren't scented, at least the ones I had, and I had several different sizes and colors. I love em.....much better than anything else I've used.

Answer: We use a fish scent made from real bait that is mild to human senses but is packed with amino acids and pheromones that fish can smell. The scent will wear off after a bunch of casts so we always recommend reapplying with Jigging Gel.

How many come in a pack?

Answer: The description is accurate. Eight (8) in the 5.5 inch size pack.

How much liquid is in the container?

Answer: Only a small amount just to coat the baits for scenting purposes. These baits do not require any liquid to stay usable as they will never dry out.

Answer: There isn't very much liquid in the Fat Cow container

these baits ALWAYS deliver when i use them for fluke, striped bass and bluefish. The action is what really attracts these voracious fish. Use these with Gulp and it makes it super effective. VERY STRONG TOO.

I bought these for wreck/jig fishing to add on to jigs. I've used the otter tail 4-3/4 in the past they work well and seem tougher than the fat cows, but I like the little longer tails on the fat cows. The 9" are great, but you only get 3 per pack, so I wanted to try the 5-1/2" ones.

I don't know if these aren't as tough, or the fish like them more and bite them directly, but they don't seem to last as long as the otter tails. I'm talking offshore fish like snapper, grouper, AJ, etc.

That being said, for the price, I will always have some as little bit more ways to entice the fish to bite.

I use these trailers as replacement tails when the fish bite my gulp baits in half. They also work great by themselves. Very tough product. Glad I found these

I haven't done a ton of fishing yet this summer, but I've hooked some great bluefish with these trailing on my luers. I'll be buying them again when I use these up. I kind of wish they were easier to get off the hook when done fishing so that I can put them back into the container to "refresh", but I guess the point is that they don't easily come off the hook, right???
