Received the stated number of jigs. The paint appears to be of good quality, and all of the applied eyes appear to be set consistently and firmly. The hook quality is good, and they are sharp, but perhaps not sticky-sharp. The hook eyes and hooks are all free of paint.
The jigs arrive in a small plastic box that is just large enough to hold them if they lie evenly and flat. If they are tipped to one side or hooks are sticking up, the box won’t close. However, the box closes securely.
The reason I removed a star is because of the willow leaf blades. As noted in another review, they don’t always spin. Luckily, they usually flutter a little bit if not spinning, so they will provide a little flash if less vibration.
I tipped one with a Berkeley power grub and caught a few local smallmouth bass this weekend, and other than the blade issue, they performed fine.
I may buy more of these and replace the spinner blades, and I would definitely buy more if they came with a Colorado-style blade.
