What is the product dimension?

Answer: I dont know exactly, but I would say 3" x 1-1/2". Fits great in a small pocket on the front of my ice armor bibs. Love this product.

Answer: Bait buttons come in diff sizes. Small size seems like 50 to a pack. Larger ones are about 30. Btw they work really great. I have much success with them.

Answer: I would think that hook size would be to big. 1/0 might be as big as they'd go on.

what color buttons come with it?

Answer: The buttons do not come in different colors and are so tiny that they are not noticed on the hook anyway. They work great at holding bait, plastic, yarn etc. in place.

I used this on a recent Canadian fishing trip where we had to pinch our barbs. After the first trip all of the guys I fished with purchased one. I plan on purchasing this item again.

I was using them in -20 f ice fishing and I did have a couple crumble but it was rare. Overall very satisfied.

Snowshoe Hare : Meh...just okay

The button diameter is pretty tiny so I suspect your mileage will vary depending upon the type of bait you use. Soft skin-on sucker meat slides past the button fairly easily. I partially disagree with the pitch that the buttons come in an “easy to use refillable dispenser.” Yes, it’s easy to refill. No, it’s not easy to get the dispenser halves to snap back together. In fact, I had no choice but to tape it back together in order to continue using it.

Better off buying the other one, the bigger one because some of these will rip apart when you trying to attatch it to the hook.

If fishing waters requiring "barb-less" hooks, you likely know or recognize the need for a product like the Bait Button.
What you might not know is it's likely one of the fastest and easiest options, and very likely the least expensive option made for that type fishing. Refills are also available from the manufacturer. Going barb-less can save damage to fish (and fishermen) and when utilized correctly, actually is more effective and much faster than barbed hooks!

Works great! The dispenser makes it easy to put on the hook. I use these to keep my Herring in place when fishing for striper. The keep the bait from getting double hooked.

Does the product help the bait stay on? Sorta.. not a huge difference. I fish in the surf and primarily use live sand crabs or shrimp. The bait buttons keeps my bait on maybe 2-3 casts at most but eventually the bait flys off. Maybe buttons would work better fishing in calmer waters. Overall I am disappointed and would not recommend the bait button for surf fishing.
