What age you you recommend this fishing kit for?
Answer: This kit is good for all ages. It is perfect for a beginner, but has enough tackle for anyone. I am 44, and I find there is enough to augment the supplies in my kayak crate.
Answer: As I have never had children, Here is my very unqualified answer… if you can trust your kid to not put non-food items in their mouth and your ok with them having a very sharp hook, well I’d say their old enough. And for the older crew, if you don’t know why your at a lake with a pole in your hand your probably to old and should call some one for help.

I received this as a part of a free promotional to try out their products. I have tried to write this review honestly, as to whether I would spend my own money on it.
Here's my feeling: All of these baits are good quality and quite useful. I have tried the plastic worms, hooks, sinkers, and one of the crankbaits, and I found them to be solid and strong.
I usually test the hook quality by seeing how strong they are in piercing an empty coke bottle. This gives me a consistent test, since their bottles are usually manufactured the same. Using water bottles would not work since each company manufactures them differently.
I like the strength and durability of the hooks, and the weights were easy to string. I haven't caught anything on these baits yet, but when I do I will attempt to get a video up.
