What is the color it doesn't look chrome anymore ?

Answer: like brushed nickel.it's a good looking reel . I'm really impressed with it I've caught multiple 30-42# catfish on it .I have 3 of them

would it look to big on a 7'4 heavy rod?

Answer: I use mine on a 7'11 for large catfish, 30 to 60 lb class, works great

What does xl mean on a reel? seen xs mean extra speed on other brands.

Answer: Don't know what it means, but is the same size as a garcia 60. Is awesome for catfish

Can you get replacement parts for these reels?

Answer: not sure

Is this reel ok for salt water use?

Answer: yes youtube guy called dieiter melhorn caught several sharks on this reel tryin break it and nothin failed.

Will a abu garcia power handle fit this?

Answer: Yes

Answer: Yes all metal reels .

Answer: Yes great little reel. Use it for blue catfish on the Ohio river. Caught several fish 70 lbs on it.

Bub : Won’t hold up

I would give a zero if I could when I got it it was all scratched up and look like it had been used hard save ur money and just buy a abu Garcia 6500 c for 60 more bucks this is junk

Use this on my company’s catfish rod and love it. Boated a lot of blue cats with this little reel and the one pictured was the biggest so far, 71lbs. Handle this fish great.

This is a fantastic reel for the money! Casts like butter. I was shocked at how resistant this is to backlashes as I thought this would be birds nest city. I can cast big honkin lures as shown in the picture all the way down to senkos! I think I've gotten better distance on this bad boy than my low profile casters like my Abu black maxx or my Lew's speed spool. Definitely a good buy and might pick up another for a friend.

- Drag is smooth
- Spool disengagement is tactile
- Not too heavy considering size
- Holds a TON of line

ROSCO : A good loud reel

I read where this reel is loud when you cast and one of mine is. I have 2. The problem is that you have to listen to it for a 75- 80 yrd cast. With a 3oz weight these reels will cast a large chunk of cut bait past my other reels 15yrds . So far they have handled a 32# and 15 # without a hitch. Even my Abu's make a rackit when you cast.

Very smooth, holds good amount of line for 50 pound mono, however holds a ton if smaller line, 15 pound max drag, just like a abu, but less money but feels like a high end reel, if you cant justify spending $100+ on a reel grab one of these guys wont be disappointed.

Name brand of Lew's ...but would not recommend any used stuff ....stuff gets overlooked and you end up with the problem

Yedoc1991 : Broken after one use, unusable.

This reel would be rated 0 stars if I could. Used one time, didn’t even catch anything, and the drag stopped working, reel will no longer reel in line. Handle just spins and spool doesn’t. Can pull line out super easily with max drag set. Threw away my money.
