Lew's Mach Speed Spin Reel

The Lew’s Mach Speed Spin is a premium 8-bearing reel with Zero-Reverse anti-reverse and quality solid brass pinion gear. Housing the proven guts is a rugged graphite body and sidecover. The reel’s SoftTouch finish adds a nice touch in durability and comfort. The reel has a skeletal graphite rotor and double anodized knurled aluminum spool. An oversized line roller helps reduce line twist. The heavy-duty aluminum bail wire takes care of business in picking line up and laying it down for smooth casting performance, cast after cast.

Answer: No it does not

This a MS 200 , is this the same size as a 2000

What lb line can you use in this reel?

Answer: Anywhere from 2lb test to 20lb braid it's a really nice reel didn't care for the rod but the reel is a keeper

I'm trying to replace my lews xfinity speed spool. this reel says its a 35" clam. is that the same size as the xfinity? i'm not sure what size a 35"is

What is the drag rating for the 100 model reel?

Answer: Do not know because I have not used it yet

What is the difference between a box and a clam reel?

Answer: It’s the different packaging - one is a box and the other is a clamshell package

Is it good for catfishing or whould yall recondmen another reel

Answer: Would not recommend for catfishing, more like crappie and some small bass.

What size rod will this fit

Answer: I use 7' medium fast tip

One of the noisiest reels I have ever had. There is nothing positive I can say about this reel other than it looks nice. Spend the extra $ and get a Shimano or any other brand other than Lews. Made in China to boot. This is the second one as its a replacement for the first dud i bought and its no better. Just sent that one back too. I gave it one star because you cant rate it for 0 stars. Amazon however, was 5 stars as far as delivery and ease of return
