Lew's Mach Speed Spin Reel
The Lew’s Mach Speed Spin is a premium 8-bearing reel with Zero-Reverse anti-reverse and quality solid brass pinion gear. Housing the proven guts is a rugged graphite body and sidecover. The reel’s SoftTouch finish adds a nice touch in durability and comfort. The reel has a skeletal graphite rotor and double anodized knurled aluminum spool. An oversized line roller helps reduce line twist. The heavy-duty aluminum bail wire takes care of business in picking line up and laying it down for smooth casting performance, cast after cast.

Answer: Anywhere from 2lb test to 20lb braid it's a really nice reel didn't care for the rod but the reel is a keeper

I'm trying to replace my lews xfinity speed spool. this reel says its a 35" clam. is that the same size as the xfinity? i'm not sure what size a 35"is

One of the noisiest reels I have ever had. There is nothing positive I can say about this reel other than it looks nice. Spend the extra $ and get a Shimano or any other brand other than Lews. Made in China to boot. This is the second one as its a replacement for the first dud i bought and its no better. Just sent that one back too. I gave it one star because you cant rate it for 0 stars. Amazon however, was 5 stars as far as delivery and ease of return
Matt : Great reel, but prepare to replace handle!
I love this reel for top water and crank baits. Only issue is the handle is now loose where the knob is. They should make the handle sturdier. Broke after catching this bass but easy to replace.

Reel works great and has the best line pickup/ rotation then any reel near its price range. It’s worth every penny. So many people say it’s not smooth or complain about how many ball bearings it has. That so silly and pointless. It fishes really well and that’s what matters most. Reels that are smoother either are over priced or don’t pick up line near as fast. Fast line pick to is very valuable for most fishing applications.
