Answer: Yes, they do make one, I bought one with my 5/6 reel. Looks like they are out of stock right now. As inexpensive as these reels are, just buy a second 5/6 reel. A similar in appearance, made in USA, CNC bar stock spare spool from one of five leading companies, is around $300.

I have the 7-8 weight reel. It is well made with no signs of a "economy" reel. Smooth drag and recovery, excellent detail metal work. I have multiple brands of reels. There is no reason to spend more money for another reel. If (really it is when) I need another reel I will definitely return to Piscifun.
