Five dimensions are provided for each size. Are the first two the width and length of the hoop?

Answer: I don't recall the numbers separated by slash marks as being multiple numbers. I recall length x width x depth and ordered, based mostly on the first two, which approximated the length and width of the hoop of my net. The third dimension was what I figured to be the depth, and it fit perfectly.

Answer: I emailed the seller and got this back as a response: "Amazon's descriptions are a bit crazy and incorrect. The best way is to change the drop down, then look down on the page under product details and it will have the product item number. Just so you know, the 36P is 36" off of the hoop so it will be a bit shorter on the hoop." I tried this and it and the information is there. How much weight can this net handle?

Answer: More than you could fit in the net - Pretty sturdy stuff - We've had large angry pike among others in it with zero problems - - - -

Answer: I have had 45 lb stripers in the net with no problem

Answer: It managed a 25lb chinook salmon with no issues. I'm certain it could do fish twice that size. But I wouldn't try a halibut.

Answer: dont know--just know it works fine for me

The size shows 28x30x36”/40/60 is the 36/48/60 spec to determine the depth? if so, how do i specify which depth i want when i order?

I am looking for a net that will fit a 30 x 30 opening that is 72 deep. Will this work?

Answer: this net is really deep.had to tie a knot to shorten it up.it should work for you

Answer: I use to enclose muskies with out taking them out of the water, for a healthy release it’s a decent net for the price you should be happy with it
