Can it be installed while the stand is up? Or will I have to tip the stand down to install?

Answer: It can be installed while up i just put mine on last week works fine

Is this a silent material, or does it make a lot of noise when the wind blows against it?

Answer: Very quiet and makes no noise. It's not a very heavy material but does the job!

would this make a good wind break for a tree stand

Answer: Not really. While I absolutely love the stand itself, I was very disappointed with the quality of this blind. After being up only one week most of the ties that attach the bottom of the blind to the stand tore off from the wind. I had to sew them all back on. After doing that I guess it works alright. I just felt for the price the quality should have been better.

Answer: I have two of these, I’m sure it helps some, but the upper half of your body is still exposed to the wind. Their primary purpose is to conceal movement and break-up your outline. However, I guess I’d say it’s better than nothing regarding the wind.

I figured the quality of this blind would be on par with the stand that it’s for.
I figured dead wrong.
Imagine chip bags attached together and then amplify the sound by a couple hundred percent.
The connections on the bottom of the blind are tie ons. It should be bungee. Horrible quality and you can’t get it tight. When a deer comes in noth hunter in the stand have to slowly put pressure on the material so the wind doesn’t grab it and alert the entire 40 acres you’re hunting on.
Getting in and out is like being born all over again. It’s a very tight fit that is as quiet as a rock concert.
Imagine that at 430 am in a silent woods.
The fat kid tearing into the Fritos that’s been starved for a week is close to it.
Do I recommend this, HELL NO.
I’m returning mine after I finish this review.

I am very disappointed in this one. It slips over the rail so things need to be taken apart. Once it is on you can not raise the rail if necessary. And I never had one that made so much noise!!! Obviously who ever designed this is Not a Hunter.

I like it other than its made of the loudest material known to man! Better get in your stand hours early because you're going to scare off every deer within 300 yards! And when you're sitting in the stand, you have to be careful about moving because if you touch the cover at all, they're gone!

If this was quiet cloth, it would be 5 stars. I dont understand how a hunting company could produce this!

Pros: Let me start by saying that this stand is the most comfortable stand I've ever sat in. This past weekend I sat in it for 6 hrs on Saturday Morning and was never uncomfortable. I put atleast 20 hrs in 2 days in this stand and I was never uncomfortable. It is secure and safe when you put it up right.
The cons are it was so hard to put it up. It took 3 of us and I wished we hard 4. It is heavy and hard to put on a tree.
I'll say this, I would buy another one. Suck it up and put this stand on a tree. This is the best stand I've ever sat in.
