Answer: I purchased this for my husband for Christmas and he LOVES it. He makes jerky of all kinds constantly. We have also made dried fruit and it did a good job. (We are not huge fans of dried fruit so it wasn't the machines fault). It did exactly what it was supposed to. And it cleans up like a dream. So much easier than those silly round trays. This is a great design! Love it!

I would give zero if I could. Was great for a year, then the heating element blew. Contacted a Waring certified repair shop and they are no longer making parts for it. I am stuck with a worthless machine a year after purchase. Thanks.
