Answer: My husband loves it. I think he said the Bluetooth connects through the actual app you download. He is gonna buy a clamp to hook to the hook as it is rather large for catch and release. Hope this helps.

Answer: Yes, the ConnectScale does have a tare feature. You simply need to hit reset button on the scale while holding the scale upright to zero it out.

Can i get the Connectscale app on the Kindle?

Will it store information untill you get cell service

Answer: Yes, the app stores data locally on device and then uploads to cloud once you return to cell service. The only features that do not work are Summary and Catch Log sort and filter capabilities as these features will only work when you have cell service.

Can you connect to multiple devices?

Answer: Yes. But you may only pair with one device at a time. If you have paired to one device then you must make sure that you have logged out and disabled Bluetooth signal from 1st device before attempting to connect to 2nd.

Love this scale have been using it all year so far, still using the original batteries that came with it. Love the app and how easy it is to use. The way it keeps track of your catches and logs everything about the catch for future reference. Custom service is great. Best scale on the market hands down! Have the Connect Scale2 also and that is even better!

Dead after first use. Light rain killed it instantly. One would asume a fishing scale woul be weather proof. Total waste of money.

$60??? Better off buying a $10 non Bluetooth scale. Will probably take the same amount of time to connect to your phone. Dropped it maybe 2 feet on the deck of my boat and the LCD is broke. Says they offer a replacement program but good luck finding anything else about it. Good idea but needs a lot of improvement.
