Answer: I don’t mean to be rude, but why answer a question with “I don’t know” or “I’m not sure”? When a person asks a question about a product he is looking for specific information. Those answers where the respondent just says they don’t know are not helpful. I don’t know if it’s because more people are home bound and they’re bored, but recently I’ve noticed a lot more of these where the person asking the question doesn’t know any more than he did prior to receiving the “answer”.

Answer: The plastic fed into the taper will gather to a point roughly the size in circumference of a pea. The banding tape will gather around that. The thickness of the plastic will ultimately determine if this taper is able to accommodate the volume of plastic.

Answer: No it don't, you have to buy tape for it. It is hard to use, I don't like the one I brought, the tape dose not cut off, you have to use scissors, air will still get in the bags, it does not seal bags of cotton candy at all.

Answer: I don't know why not? I use it for sealing chocolate and other baked goods. It works very well and is very durable.

Answer: yes it is stable standing up, I don't have mine standing up on my kitchen counter, but you can mount if you want to, one more thing mine did not come with any instruction so you are going to figure how to put in tape if you don't have any instruction.

Answer: I used it to pack my deer I ground up and stuffed into 1lb bags if that's what you mean. It worked great

Answer: yes if you make sure all air is out and end is twisted tight, however mine had no instructions on how to set up machine on put on tape to seal, so you will have to do it on your own.
Answer: You will need to twist the neck of the bag up to 1 inch from the top of the bag to seal. This machine is useful for performing multiple tasks quickly.
Answer: I don't believe it is airtight, probably equilvant to tying a rubber band around it tightly. It seals well enough for me to put flour in it and it won't pour out if I turn the bag upside down. Although if the tape doesn't stick well enough I have had it come undone before.

why does the item come with no instructions?
Answer: I found this rather irritating too, but fiddled around with it and got it to work. It really is pretty simple to work. You want to thread the tape so that it comes up from the bottom of the roll, (not over the top), exposing the sticky side which you lay across the end. Then just twist up your bag and hold both sides of it and push down thru the slot. This will seal and cut the tape.
Answer: You don't need any instructions you put a roll of tape in (buy separately ) with the sticky side visible to you and hold the tape just over the end of the machine. Take a small stick and push it trough the tape as it was a bag ( just for the first time) you wil here a click and taps is where it should. For the next bag roll up the end hold it on both sides and push it through I hope this helps Leon

Answer: Put the tap on the roll and pull the tape thur the sealer where it stop at the white box at the bottom of the sealer .
Answer: You want the tape coming off the bottom of the spool and simply lay it across the top of the cinch wheels with sticky side up. When you press down with your package wrapper it will seal and cut the tape. I had the same head scratching moment when I first got mine but it's pretty simple when you figure it out. The product works really great but they should include some instructions.

Answer: I don't see how you could. You could just take the tape by its self and wrap it around the rope and cut it by hand.
Answer: Sadly one has to pull the tied end through the opening. I believe trying to reverse the rope through the mechanism would ultimately damage it.

I have mixed reviews on this product. As far as the product goes it works great. Saves me so much time when bagging up icing bags. Extremely sturdy, seems to be very well built yet not overly complicated. I was however disappointed the packaging wasn’t better. It was put in the cheapest box ever found. No labels, no instructions what so ever. I had to figure out on my own how to load and operate it. Granted it didn’t take me very long at all to do so. I would have appreciated some instructions included with it though.

This product came loose in a box, NO INSTRUCTIONS, and shipped in a bubble pack. A white piece was in the box. No tape! At one point we were reduced to packaging individual servings of chicken nuggets, steak fingers and the like twisting the bags and securing them with wire ties. My wrist were shot on the first day, by day two I was about ready to quit as I was in so much pain.
I remembered using one of these many years ago making snacks for a Nursing home I worked at, so I looked them up and found one here on amazon for not a lot of money, yes it sucked I had to wait an extra day for the tape.
Thankfully the tape arrived the day after the machine. I took it to work only to find bags of broccoli waiting to be bagged, and two of my co-workers bagging some with the wire twist ties.
I took a moment to set up my machine, and got to work. I had my broccoli done in no time at all, best of all my wrist weren't wrecked after the first five minuets.
If you are doing something similar to this, you must to get one of these!

It worked well if the bag was not full. If the bag was full it was hard to get the twisted plastic through the opening and have the tape stick.

I read the reviews prior to purchasing it and figured that it is cheap enough that if I had the same problems so had, wouldn't be too much of a loss. To my surprise, it works great and cuts my time if not in half, pretty close to it.
Bagging ice at work is the bane of my existence, twist ties take up 50% of the time or more and is hell of the finger tips. It took about 10 bags to get the tape sealer down pat. If you just jam the bag through the machine, you're going to have a horrible experience and you'll spend more time redoing the tape. If you twist (spin) the bag closed and then calmly run the bag through the machine you'll end up with perfectly taped seals.
First few times I messed the tape up but afterwards have not had one single problems and it's a total game changer for me. I'm able to make bagged ice so much faster which allows more time to dedicate to other things.

I have purchased both the Tamper Evident Tape bag sealer and the Steel tape bag sealer with bag trimmer and there is a world of difference! The one star is for the Steel tape bag sealer with bag trimmer it is terrible. You will spend more time try to get the tape set than you will sealing anything.

Love the quality and sturdiness of the machine. It’s very easy to use but I did not like that it didn’t come with tape or an instruction manual- so I can see what size tape to buy! Overal it’s fabulous, and seals beautifully. Put the tape in with the sticky side up.

Why? No instructions at all, I have no clue how to thread this tool. Beyond frustrated and angry. I assumed it would come with one roll of tape and was happy I had ordered extra since if I didn’t I’d have no tape to use it, but in the end it didn’t matter as I have no clue how to thread the tape through it. Sorry that simply sucks. ????????

I would rate it 0 stars if that were an option. Despite watching the instructional video, plus several videos on YouTube, this product simply would not work. I am going to try for a refund.

Bought it for work it’s made our job so much easier due to COVID we have to prep meals for the kids parents to pick up and the food has to go into several different food bags then sealed then sealed into one big bag makes work productive

Pic shows tape ..tape was not included. No instructions but the tape is laid over the top and press the bag through the first time ..then its threaded. Works perfect!
