Answer: The opening for the tape seal will not be large enough to allow the stick to pass through. It will work if your bag is large enough to accommodate the stick while leaving enough bag to tape seal.

Answer: I don’t mean to be rude, but why answer a question with “I don’t know” or “I’m not sure”? When a person asks a question about a product he is looking for specific information. Those answers where the respondent just says they don’t know are not helpful. I don’t know if it’s because more people are home bound and they’re bored, but recently I’ve noticed a lot more of these where the person asking the question doesn’t know any more than he did prior to receiving the “answer”.

Answer: Not sure. It didn’t work for my needs so I had to return it. Sorry.

Answer: The plastic fed into the taper will gather to a point roughly the size in circumference of a pea. The banding tape will gather around that. The thickness of the plastic will ultimately determine if this taper is able to accommodate the volume of plastic.

Answer: No it don't, you have to buy tape for it. It is hard to use, I don't like the one I brought, the tape dose not cut off, you have to use scissors, air will still get in the bags, it does not seal bags of cotton candy at all.

Answer: I don't know why not? I use it for sealing chocolate and other baked goods. It works very well and is very durable.

Answer: yes it is stable standing up, I don't have mine standing up on my kitchen counter, but you can mount if you want to, one more thing mine did not come with any instruction so you are going to figure how to put in tape if you don't have any instruction.

Answer: I used it to pack my deer I ground up and stuffed into 1lb bags if that's what you mean. It worked great

Answer: yes if you make sure all air is out and end is twisted tight, however mine had no instructions on how to set up machine on put on tape to seal, so you will have to do it on your own.

Answer: You will need to twist the neck of the bag up to 1 inch from the top of the bag to seal. This machine is useful for performing multiple tasks quickly.

Answer: I don't believe it is airtight, probably equilvant to tying a rubber band around it tightly. It seals well enough for me to put flour in it and it won't pour out if I turn the bag upside down. Although if the tape doesn't stick well enough I have had it come undone before.

Answer: I have used it to seal cotton candy bags (the jumbo ones) , sugared roasted nuts, candy, lollipops, and different cookies. It will seal anything you can twist close. The seal will remain until you open it.

Answer: I found this rather irritating too, but fiddled around with it and got it to work. It really is pretty simple to work. You want to thread the tape so that it comes up from the bottom of the roll, (not over the top), exposing the sticky side which you lay across the end. Then just twist up your bag and hold both sides of it and push down thru the slot. This will seal and cut the tape.

Answer: You don't need any instructions you put a roll of tape in (buy separately ) with the sticky side visible to you and hold the tape just over the end of the machine. Take a small stick and push it trough the tape as it was a bag ( just for the first time) you wil here a click and taps is where it should. For the next bag roll up the end hold it on both sides and push it through I hope this helps Leon

Answer: Put the tap on the roll and pull the tape thur the sealer where it stop at the white box at the bottom of the sealer .

Answer: You want the tape coming off the bottom of the spool and simply lay it across the top of the cinch wheels with sticky side up. When you press down with your package wrapper it will seal and cut the tape. I had the same head scratching moment when I first got mine but it's pretty simple when you figure it out. The product works really great but they should include some instructions.

Answer: I don't see how you could. You could just take the tape by its self and wrap it around the rope and cut it by hand.

Answer: Sadly one has to pull the tied end through the opening. I believe trying to reverse the rope through the mechanism would ultimately damage it.

A simple and quick way to do leftovers. I use bread bags, throw the food in it, twist the bag and press it down on the gadget. Fast, good seal. Clip with scissors to open. Tape is easy to get (Amazon). No finding plastic lids or using containers that take up fridge space.

We have tried to use this dispenser several times now. It just doesn't seal the bags tightly. I've even applied two wraps of tape and it still doesn't hold. Also, the tape gets caught in the dispenser several times during processing. Not worth the fight. Don't recommend this product.

Other reviews are right, tape is not included. I read those reviews before my purchase, so I purchased my tape separate. This is the first time trying this type of product so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it definitely does the job. So far I’ve only used it for sealing cakepops and lollipop style chocolate covered treats. It does get a little stuck from time to time but nothing major.

My granddaughter loves balloons. So I bought a bunch of 12” and 36” balloons. If you have ever tried to blow up balloons
And then tie them. You know how frustrating It can be.
I purchased a reduction nozzle that I can use on my shop vac. it makes it super quick to blow them up. You can also use just the regular hose and a funnel. Takes a little practice to get it right without breaking them.
I then purchased the Tach-It E7R Steel Tape Bag Sealer. With the hopes it would make tying easier. It works great just twist the end of the balloon and push it in and it is done. I have tried some of the balloon fastening devices available and they are a pain to work with and not as good.
If you have to blow up a lot of balloons this is the easiest and least expensive way to go in the long run.
The only negative I can think of is it does not come with the tape as shown in the picture. You have to buy separately from a different supplier on Amazon and takes a little longer to get delivered.

I read the reviews prior to purchasing it and figured that it is cheap enough that if I had the same problems so had, wouldn't be too much of a loss. To my surprise, it works great and cuts my time if not in half, pretty close to it.

Bagging ice at work is the bane of my existence, twist ties take up 50% of the time or more and is hell of the finger tips. It took about 10 bags to get the tape sealer down pat. If you just jam the bag through the machine, you're going to have a horrible experience and you'll spend more time redoing the tape. If you twist (spin) the bag closed and then calmly run the bag through the machine you'll end up with perfectly taped seals.

First few times I messed the tape up but afterwards have not had one single problems and it's a total game changer for me. I'm able to make bagged ice so much faster which allows more time to dedicate to other things.

At one point we were reduced to packaging individual servings of chicken nuggets, steak fingers and the like twisting the bags and securing them with wire ties. My wrist were shot on the first day, by day two I was about ready to quit as I was in so much pain.

I remembered using one of these many years ago making snacks for a Nursing home I worked at, so I looked them up and found one here on amazon for not a lot of money, yes it sucked I had to wait an extra day for the tape.

Thankfully the tape arrived the day after the machine. I took it to work only to find bags of broccoli waiting to be bagged, and two of my co-workers bagging some with the wire twist ties.

I took a moment to set up my machine, and got to work. I had my broccoli done in no time at all, best of all my wrist weren't wrecked after the first five minuets.

Pretty bad product. We tried tape sealing our bags and the wheel kept ripping holes in our bag as you pressed it down to seal. And the air would still come out of the bag. Waste of money, definitely returning.

Update. I have learned to use this correctly. Giving it a 5 star rating. The twist in the bag must be tight and a gentle downward movement seals the tape and makes a clean cut . Original comment: Only reason 4 stars is sometimes the tape slips and doesn't seal. Could be operator error, otherwise it is great. I use it all the time , I package 120 lbs of grind monthly.

I am usually very hands-on to figuring how things work so "without" instructions, I figured it out how to assemble with a new roll of 3/8" tape. Not sure if it's thr tape or the mechanism but I have to realign the roll between a few wraps as it seems to move towards one side as thr tape does not secure properly. Other than that, it seems sturdy and works well for my cakepop wrapping!!
