Q:
What is the gear ratio on the right handed model ?
Answer: Well, the description says 7.3:1, but I believe mind are 6.6:1....
Q:
What is the lb. limit for line, on this reel?
Answer: The box says: 10/160yds; 12/130yds; 14/95yds. That is mono. I currently have braid on my reel. I have 20lb braid and it casts really smooth.

Product reviews of Okuma Cerros Low Profile Baitcast Reel
Cody : Great reel. Will buy again
Great reel. Will buy again.
Mark Cantrell : 7.3:1 is a great reel but needs more drag
This is a pretty awesome reel, casts amazing is ultra smooth and I love Okuma products. I only have one downside, I bought this reel with high gear ratio for topwater and for jigs where i need to catch up really fast for hooksets. It does crank in the line but, with any high speed reel the power isnt there i get that i knew that when i bought it however jigs and topwater I am fishing heavy line with heavy wire hooks in jigs and frogs but even with the dragstar tightened all the way the drag is not very strong, the only way you can manage a good hookset is by holding thumb on spool during the set the drag will just peel off. Also I am always fishing around heavy cover but this drag system lets the fish go wherever it wants to go. This is now my semi finesse reel where i need quick line pick up but am using light line with light wire hooks and it works amazing for that buti am still in need of a good reel for jigs and frogs with high speed but enough drag for monster hooksets and control of the fish. Thinking of trying the 6.6:1 ratio but might just go to a different model altogether.
Dawg : Striped bass assassin
This reel is awesome. Look no further. Also great price I felt like it should be more money. But I'm glad it's not.
Ron lomeli : Okuma bait caster reel
For the price, this is an awesome reel !!
alex abear : could be a defect but it never felt as good as my quantum smoke
The bearings started grinding after the first time I took it out. could be a defect but it never felt as good as my quantum smoke reels
Amazon Customer : good reel
,every one has their own opinion about reels, which brand is better, I was buying the really inexpensive cheap reels that worked ok but those cheep reels are hard to set and cast well , I read the reviews on this one and decided to try it I upgraded and spent a little more money , what a difference this reel feels so much better , the controls feel like you really adjusting something , changing the casting settings that really work minimizing backlash problems and spool over run haven't caught a fish with it yet but I am going to start getting rid of my cheap reels on my other rods and upgrading to better reels . I will never spend hundreds of dollars on the really nice reels but I think this one fills the niche

blake sexton : Amazing Performance Under Heavy Loads
I have both the 6.6 (CR-266) and 7.3 (CR-273) baitcasters and while fishing crankbaits, hooked a 40 plus pound grass carp on two occasions. One was hooked near the mouth (never saw its mouth) while the other in the tail. For both fights, I maintained hard tension on the 12 lbs test line and set the drag to allow the fish to constantly pull the boat around and take off on long runs when it got attitude. That was my strategy for wearing the fish down. They didn't wear down, I did. But neither did the Okuma Cerros reels. The drag performance on these reels was amazing and always felt strong during the 45 minute fights which ended in the carp swimming off.
The reels make effortless long casts and feel great fighting those 5-6 pound bass (like nothing) but the drag performance was something I just had to share. I would recommend these reels to a friend.

Great reel. Will buy again.
Chris : Workhorse reel!
Great reel so far! I really like Okuma since I purchased a freshwater Avenger spinning reel years ago as a last minute fishing trip replacement reel. I've put it through hell and its still going strong. In fact I recently ordered the new series Avenger 4000 and its as good as the older models and I absolutely love it. Nothing fancy but gets the job done.
Over the last few years I've been buying more and more baitcasting reels and while I have some other more expensive reels (e.g. Daiwa-Tatula), I was looking for a less expensive reel to pair up with a rod that didnt have a home (Phenix Maxim 610ML). I saw the deal on this and while its not on the higher end of the Okuma casting reels like the Komodo SS, this little guy is a workhorse. I put some 10 pound test on it and after a half a dozen or so casts pulled out a 4 pound largemouth with ease. The retrieve is extremely smooth and it feels really good in my hands based on the lower profile and I can really feel even the smallest of movement. So far its been nothing but great.
Definitely happy with the product and will be looking to buy more Okuma for sure.
