Answer: Depends on the line weight...the 140 is for 10lb, 170 is for 8lb line, 210 is for 6lb line...if you are looking for 120-140 yards of 4lb line the reel is 1000 model.

The purpose of my review is to find a way to get a replacement. My son thought it was faulty on Christmas Day, the reel clicks and jams when you turn the handle. It did it sporadically at first. He used it once in February When it did it a few times and on getting it out again to fish with over the next few weeks it now seems to do it all the time.
