????Me sorprendió la calidad por el precio es muy buena se siente todo de metal que va a durar mucho . Muy firme nada de juego en su manivela como otros que se les mueve todo. Está si es una máquina de arrastre de metal no de plástico.????

Up until this spring I have been using a 5500 Abu since 1988... then I get this real, in left hand, which is the way to go for a right handed caster. my first trip out with this reel I caught my biggest bass to date, and the reel performed flawlessly. Casting is pretty easy to get adjust to not have any(many) backlashes, and distance is pretty impressive. To be completely transparent though, I bought a Abu Garcia Black Max and its only fractionally a lesser reel. If you want to save some money its not a bad way to go. Also, If you're considering the comparable Shimano, don't....its a good reel but not as adjustable for casting, and is inferior to the Daiwa. not a bad reel but just not as good for the money, IMO.

I wasn't sure how I'd like the profile or the modest gear ratio on this reel since it's not billed as a low-profile model but I love it! As a mainly spin fisherman I always struggle a little with backlashing on casting reels but this one was super-easy to dial in and I haven't had an unrecoverable backlash yet. It's comfortable in hand, performs great and retrieves fast enough for my needs. I just wish I'd been able to find a left-hand retrieve Fuego with a ratio in line with the CR80 high speed model, which I own but don't like nearly as well as the Fuego.

David Pritchard : Broken when arrived :/

I’m a big fan of Daiwa and their fishing products. My reel came in today and I was very excited. Unfortunately, when I got the reel it was only in a small white and blue amazon bag, and the small Daiwa box with no other packaging. We all know items like that are just going to get thrown around in transit, well when I tried to rig the reel to my new pole, the spool would not even engage and spin, it was super difficult to remove the side plate too so I suspect it got banged around. I put in my replacement order. I’m really hoping this time it gets packed correctly to preserve this nice product. I really can’t wait to use it!!!!!
