Small Crankbait: These amazing lures gained popularity from their SMALL PROFILE and amazing action they exhibit. No other small crankbait has this great combination of GREAT CASTING DISTANCE, PHENOMENAL SWIMMING ACTION, IMPRESSIVE MANEUVERABILITY, and REAL LIFE LIKE DESIGN. Originally made specifically for trout and smaller pan fish, anglers soon found out that there isn’t a fish that these lures will not catch. One of the great features of the design is that they work great in high current situations like rivers, streams, and creeks, but also in non-current situations such as lakes, reservoirs, and ponds. You will be amazed at the response you will get from the action you feel in your rod tip when swimming these small lures. Target Trout, Bass (Large and Small Mouth), Pike, Walleye, Perch, Crappie, Steelhead, and any other baitfish using these well-crafted, optimally weighted lures.
Use Tips:
[1] Use without a snap swivel for maximum effect, simply tie these lures to the end of your line for maximum response time and greater control.
[2] Use medium/light gear and a slow retrieve rate to allow the lures to swim through the water.
[3] Cast near cover where applicable.
Add a few of these to your tackle box by clicking the "Add to Cart" button in the upper right.

Can it catch Catfish?

Answer: It can but generally speaking, catfish are hard to catch on artificial bait.
Answer: Yes. They work for a variety of species of fish.
Answer: No bass and trout
Answer: Generally catfish are bottom feeders. This plug runs rather shallow. Occasionally you might catch a channel cat because they feed on Shad occasionally. I would not use this plug the catch catfish as a rule. It would be better for bass and trout.
Answer: Not intended for catfish. By design it would not appeal to them.
Q:
Seller are you going to get more 3 inch Firetiger in?
Answer: Yes I probably will if the prices are still reasonable.
Q:
Do carp really go for these?
Answer: Not really. To fast action.
Answer: Carp are primarily bottom feeders so it is not ideal.

Answer: I would say the Ghost Fish or the Holofoil Silver.

Answer: Shiuldn’t hurt the action but go at least four feet.

Answer: Yes
Answer: Yes.
Q:
Could I use this with a medium rod?
Answer: Yes you could... There are other considerations like string weight and what you are fishing for but I use a 6'6" medium Ugly Stick and have caught 5lb channel catfish (we have weird fish in one of our lakes) with no problems.
Answer: I would think so. Less stiff rods work well crank baits. The stiffer a rod is, the more difficult it is to cast. I prefer a medium rod for plugs and a stiffer rod for artificial worms.
Answer: Yes
Answer: yes

Q:
Has anyone used these for carp? Which color? If not what would you use?
Answer: These work great for carp. The color to use really depends on the water conditions. The Glimmer Trout, Trout Natural, Silver Black work best in clearer water conditions. The brighter colored lures such as the Fire Craw, Fire Tiger, and BA Special excel in muddier water conditions.
Answer: The river near me has a lot of carp and I have never caught a carp with a crank bait style lure,I personally don't fish for carp but the guys around here (S.E.Mi.)are using corn,Arkansas rig with a crawler or bread.(they squeeze the bread on the hook get it wet and squeeze it again and the bread stays on pretty good, cast it easy.
Q:
Are they bright when they glow?
Answer: I did not know they glowed.
Answer: The models i bought are not the glow ones all i can say it there build is nice and i am happy with the quality.
Q:
Can you use braided fishing line with it?
Answer: I do not see why not. I use monofilament and fire line for most my fishing with plugs If other similar plugs cast well enough with braided line, it should be ok. I think there are better choices than braided but it should work. These are light weight and intended for casting.
Answer: Yes absolutely. Simply tie the line directly to the lure tip ring. Some people use a leader but it works either way, directly on the ring or with a leader.
Answer: First...I love this lure! I have not used BL with it but from experience I don't see why knot..lol. Maybe try a mono leader just in case. ? Fish on!
Answer: Yes you can use braid just remember to use knots intended for braid line.
Answer: I prefer to use a light mono leader. 4-6#
Answer: yes
Q:
do you still make the model eg-112 autumn bass ghost colar code 551g
Q:
what is the best color for the black bass
Answer: there is not a simple answer to that question. It all depends on where you fish, clarity of water, what type of bait fish in the area, etc., etc. ….
Answer: Sorry. Fish for trout and salmon only.
Q:
What kind of weight/ leader do you use with these?
Answer: hi jon c ..I.really don't use any weight on my trout lures and for these dynamic lures I fish out of my kayak and I use 2 to 4 pouns test lines ..I get a pretty good cast with no.weight ..hope it helps and good fishing buddy
Answer: Simply attach them to your line. No need for additional weight or a swivel. A small weight can be added for deeper applications but is not required.
Answer: no weight and 4 to 6 lb line
Q:
Can these be used for sea fishing? Any idea which color would work best for tuna fishing?
Answer: I wouldn't use it in the sea plus i think a tuna will destroy it
Q:
Does it Float?
Answer: As I recall, it is a semi-floater. That is, it floats about 1-2 feet below the surface.
Answer: It is designed to be worked surface to 2 feet underwater. It has air chambers to keep it buoyant but also has rattling bbs to keep it off the top of the water. The small lip on the front also allows it to dive when reeled in.
Answer: SLOW SINKING FISHING LURE - Optimal Target Depth 0-2 feet
Q:
Can it catch Catfish?
Answer: You can get lucky and catch a catfish, and I have gutted catfish and found artificial softbaits inside them, but you're better off soaking something smelly for catfish.
Q:
are the hooks good or should they be changed out?
Answer: Hooks can be better, but not needed. I tore up bows and lake trout up to 3 lbs. No problems and still goin. Good luck. Its great!
Answer: Per the manufacturer:
Answer: Hooks are fine. Caught five bass on the first time I used it. They were in the 13"-14" range, but had no problem setting the hook.
Answer: They are perfectly fine hooks.
Answer: I have not had any issues with the hooks. This is a smaller bait and very unlikely to have a hook failures.
Q:
What color and size would be best for catching bass and trout ?
Answer: The HD Trout is designed specifically for Trout fishing. The color would depend on water conditions. The darker colors work best in clearer water conditions while the lighter/brighter colors excel in darker/murkier water.
Answer: Both sizes are good for trout. I happen to like the 2 1/4 size and for color any can catch trout. Again I happen to like natural fish colors but depending on the type of day and water clarity could depend on color.
Answer: depends on size of fish targeted and forage in the environment
Q:
Novice question coming! i'll be in the adirondack region ny on a wide slow part of the ausable river. which dynamic lure should i try?
Answer: Any of the trout or minnow colors for trout on the Ausable river, I don`t know of anyone fishing for walleyes on the Ausable river!
Answer: I've used the pink one with great success in Canada for Walleyes.
Q:
Can you use on downriggers
Answer: I have to say that I believe these lures were just designed to throw from a spin cast or such. I would think that they are too small to use on downriggers or even just trolling. I think they are rated for a dive depth of 2'-6'.
Q:
which one is the ghost perch lure?
Answer: The Ghost Perch is Brown with dark brown stripes
Answer: It's the white and blue eyes one
Product reviews of Dynamic Lures Trout Fishing Lure | Multiple BB Chamber Inside | (2) - Size 10 Treble Hooks | for Fishing Bass, Trout, Walleye, Carp | Count 1 |
doug engrahm : Gets the job done
Could be more life like, but good for the price.
riguy63 : Don't fish, CATCH fish with this lure.
Bought the pink one and all species of fish hit it. Especially good for trout! Put one of these in your tackle box today!
Rccolaman : Decent for crappie and bass
I really love the detail on this lure and the treble hooks are extremely sharp. It has a nice weight to it for decent casting distance. Well made and a fair price you cant go wrong with this lure. I have caught plenty of bass and crappie using the ghost perch. I would recommend this to other fishermen.
Alexander Reed : My short fish story.
My fish story: I hadnt been to the lake this season, decided to go midday anyway. Third cast, right at noon under the hot sun and caught a nice little spotted bass! It was the first time using the Dynamic Ghost Perch lure and most certainly wont be the last!
Kimberly Kilgore : Great action from this little crankbait!
There are a lot of ways to use this little crank. With a reliable slow sink and incredibly erratic action when jerked, it definitely gets the attention of interested fish. I use it in a large reservoir for Bass and Walleye who look at a large population of gizzard shad as a forage base. Throwing this little sinking crank into a shad boil can be effective. The smaller profile, slow sink, and quick/erratic response to rod twitches, it mimics a wounded shad like no other hardbait I've seen in those situations. It weighs just 1/10th oz so don't use this on any higher than 8lb test or else you won't get much casting distance at all. 6lb test is probably about right depending on the action of your rod.
Caleb : Dynamics will catch trout - lots of them!
I've used Dynamic lures for several years now on trout streams all over Wisconsin. They catch a lot of trout - more than spinners or other crankbaits. They are especially effective when the water is high and murky. These lures have a wiggle unlike any other lure I've used. I have purchased at least 25 of these lures and caught so many trout on them it has literally knocked the paint off of them. Brown trout especially will crush them. I've caught trout from 7" to 21" on these lures. Besides trout, I've also caught smallmouth, walleye, and pike (mostly by accident) so there is something about these lures that attracts fish. I highly recommend these.
Tips from my experience:
1) Tie these directly to your line, don't use a snap swivel. That dampens the action and is unnecessary.
2) If you fish near a lot of brush or rocks where the line gets nicked, cut the line a few feet above the lure and retie every hour or so while out on the water to avoid line breaks.
3) Cast as close to cover as possible. These lures can handle getting bounced off of logs/rocks/brush etc. I don't shy away from thick cover and I've abused these lures and they keep working.
4) Don't be afraid to cast into current or shallow water. The trout home in on them even when it seems impossible.
5) Also don't be afraid to use them in cold weather. Last spring I caught trout in an 8-degree blizzard.
The one issue I've found is that on some casts the front hook will tangle with the line and then won't work until you reel the lure back in and untangle it. It's frustrating sometimes but I haven't found a way to avoid this with any lure except to have smooth casts.
Oh also, my favorite two colors are "Trout Natural" and "Glimmer Trout". I use glimmer when the water is murky and natural when the water is clear. Buy some and give it a try!
Woodrow Dotson : Careful what you order
As with a previous review I ordered Glimmer Trout and received Trout Natural. Though I have not test the several I bought due to a postponed trip, I would say this is disappointing and since they won't take it back (per the other reviewer),I wont's take the chance and reorder. Otherwise, looks like a quality product but not cheap.
Mikea : Great lures
My go-to small crank bait for trout. Great action, far more durable than rapalas, which is great when you're smacking rocks in a small mountain creek. The brown trout pattern is deadly.
Timothy Scott : Great
I have had great success with these lures!
Ter : My personal review ..02042020
Cost alittle too much now, last year I paid 5.95/lure
They turned out great, not disappointed at the quality more of the increase of lure pricing....(bussiness) although Havnt tried using this on trout I’m sure it’ll work but I bout these jerk baits for shallow white bass, crappie, large mouth, and even walleyes! 10-15ft dept. Again great quality would not over buy ! Three of each color would be perfect! Depends on what your fishing for! I currently own x5 blacks x5 blue/silver x4 fire tiger green and x5 white with that yellow center line.. check out cabelas website to save more.

michael terwilliger : Should catch fish
Looks good but have not fished with it yet.
Wilber ortiz : Enviar en un solo paquete
Le compre 10 del mismo artículo y me los envió en paquetes separados, por lo cual tendré que pagar 10 libras, por algo que entre todos no iba hacer 2 libras...
Matt : Cool little lure!!
Always gets attention from any predator fish!
zipykido : Great lures for great price
I've been using these lures in rivers, mainly offset areas where it gets shallower and there's a bunch of cover. I've only used them so far on 6lb mono on medium action rod. Most importantly they do catch fish as shown by the pictures below. I was using a silver/blue version and hitting bass pretty consistently but the glimmer trout also works well. I managed to get a bite on my first cast of the day (always a bonus) and hit the trifecta of largemouth, smallmouth and pike (major species in my area) in one day.
Pros:
1. Cheap, much cheaper than Rapalas.
2. American company, based in CO. I ordered directly from their website and accidentally had my shipping information wrong. I got it resolved very quickly and professionally.
3. Easy to cast, they're only 1/10 oz but they cast very well.
4. Great action. I can feel the swimming action on the tip of my rod. Make sure you use medium/light or ultralight gear. Very sporadic if you're twitching and great swim action on a steady retrieve.
5. Quality build. I've smacked these against rocks and cement and ripped them through weeds without an issue. I haven't noticed any wear on the paintjob at all.
Cons:
1. Not a major con but double treble hooks means that they aren't very weedless (as expected). But you can easily remove hooks. I'll have to test the action of them without the front treble. Also they really mess up fish sometimes, as well as when I try to net the fish.
2. Also as mentioned in one of the other reviews, but the front hook often gets caught in the line. Maybe every 1 in 10 casts depending on the conditions. Messes up the swimming action and potentially misses fish.
If you order from Dynamic Lures directly you can get a discount and they also sell a sample pack of 10 for $50 so for $5 a lure or less you can have a pretty good time catching stuff.
Tully : Caught a northern
My second time using this lure I was fishing a pier on a small lake and after about 10 casts I had on a 30+ inch northern pike and got it to the dock but I didn't have a net and it snapped my line taking the lure with it. I'm buying another now.
Home hunter : Five Stars
Caught 3 fish with this one.

John B. : Wasn’t in the package
Didn’t receive all of my order. The silver black wasn’t in the package
milton : Good product for the price
I just tried it and catch a small Bass in 15 min. It seems good, I thought it would have gone deeper in the water than it does. Weight is good too.
Michael Levy : Strike in the first 15 minutes.
Have only used the lure once so far. I trolled it for about fifteen minutes at sunset from my kayak on Elepahant Butte Reservoir in New Mexico. I picked up a small white bass. That's a good sign!
Michael Ballard : Prompt shipping.. I really can't say anything negative ...
Prompt shipping. . I really can't say anything negative, except I ordered 3 different lures and a received 2 alike ... that's all

Amazon Customer : nice river lure night fishing
nice river lure night fishing.to costly but gotta have.
Reservoir Dogg : Excellent, well built but not amazing
This lure is very well made. Its heavy and casts well. It ran moderately deep. I fish this in California in areas where it's hard to catch Trout. Didn't catch any and I got more strikes with other brands. This has nothing to do with quality. I'm only saying this because there's not but ing magical about it. It's just a very good lure.
Gwendolyn : nice for the price
love it, works well on trout and bass, would recommend.

JJ : Doesn’t look like the photos
I ordered the Glimmer Trout lure. When it arrived it looked nothing like it the photos. It was very light silver with a bright red stripe. Looks so unnatural and cheap. I messaged the seller to correct and they did not respond. I tried to return the item and seller doesn’t allow returns. Won’t buy again.
riguy63 : Don't fish, CATCH fish with this lure.
