Answer: They are different sizes the 6 will dive 8ft the 7 will dive 8-10 ft and the 9 will dive to 15-17 ft when trolled at 2 mph with 140 feet of line out. When casting them for Bass they will follow a drop off to 8 or 10 feet

Answer: It measures from the tip of the lip to the end of the body.

Answer: They don't include the lip in the measurement. It's just the body of the bait.

Is this lures can be used in saltwater ?

Answer: I wouldn't know why you couldn't as long as you thoroughly wash off the lure with fresh water to remove any salt residue that might dry on the hooks and the body of the lure.

What is the depth of Cordell Wally Diver Triple Threat

Answer: Actually, all of these comments are wrong.

Answer: According to Cordell anywhere between 2-4, 3-5, or 4-6 feet depending on which size these are. I have no idea which size these are and wouldn't purchase without knowing that. Not sure why it isn't listed.

Answer: They run between 6 to 8 feet, depending on how fast you are trolling. Even though these lures are meant for Walleye, I have used them at Lake Powell and other places for Striped Bass.

Answer: When trolling the lure runs between 12 and 15 feet deep.

Whats the difference between the normal ones and the suspended version?

Answer: I have never used the suspended, but I am assuming they don't hit the bottom of the lake. I have used the normal ones, because I find that they work great when they hit the bottom for walleye. if they stay suspended they are good for whites. either way they only will dive the depth they say on the package. so if you use them in really deep water they will still suspend.

Answer: There is only one metal ball in the front piece that males some noise because the lure shakes back and forth on retreive. this is by far my favorate lure for smallmouth bass because smallies like to hangout in strong current and this lure has a lot of action.

I spent hundreds on tackle for a big trip. The silver Wally diver out-fished everything. My son retired it and has it hanging on his wall. It looks like it has been in a blender with all of the teeth marks. Caught many Northerns, Small Mouth, Large Mouth and Perch.
