Questions about KUFA Telescope Aluminum Landing Net (hoop 16"x16",Handle 20~32") LND10
Q:
What is total length when the net is fully extended.
Answer: For you, I just measured the 16 inch net. It measured aprox. 49 inches. I also have the larger 25 inch net, however it is not to availability at this time. I think it is slightly longer. If you purchase these nets, I think you will be happily surprised at what you get (quality) for the money...
Answer: About 2.5' to 3'. The only part that moves is the net folding down over the handle, the handle does not telescope.
Answer: The Max. length is about 45"
Answer: 50 inches fully extended
Answer: 4'1" fully extended
Q:
Would this be a good net to catch bats?
Answer: I've had to use it to catch a treed cat and it worked fine. I don't think a bat would be a problem.
Answer: Perhaps; I use it to catch birds.
Answer: Oh my!! I would say yes. It’s not heavy and has a good shape. Good Luck!
Answer: Yep I believe so it’s nice and big
Answer: Yes !!! I would think so .... Nice and sturdy !!!
Q:
Just got it today and after unfolded it, I can't figure out how to fold it up again. No instruction came with the product.
Answer: Press the button at the end of the pole next to the netting. Also, on the amazon site for this product, there are several pictures, and one includes the instruction w/photos. It's a little tough for my fingers, but it works!
Answer: Up at the top of the net has two little piece s you pull up then it folds down took me a little bit to figure it out to. Lol
Answer: There is a piece at the base of the neck that you pull down which will allow the two arms to fold back. Also, there is a keychain style little ring that will go through a little loop on the net that will keep it from falling off.
Answer: yes there are two pieces of metal on bottom of the netting push them in at same time and the net folds close
Answer: Near the top of the handle, there is a metal knob, which you need to pull toward you to fold the net. It is pretty difficult to pull until you get the hang of it. I hope this helps.
Answer: Pull back the metal ring toward the handle portion of the pole. It will release the net. Unscrew the joint nut to make the pole longer or shorter.
Answer: Pull the metal ring down towards the handle. The metal ring is located right where the two net arm brackets straighten out to secure the net. The metal ring is what secures the two arms to the handle. I know this is confusing, but it is hard to explain.
Answer: you have to pull down on the base where the 2 arms meet and pivot the arms, but make sure the net is around the arms.
Q:
How big are the holes? Would anchovies slip through?
Answer: Holes are approximately 3/8 inch to 1/4 inch in diameter. I don't know how big anchovies are.
Answer: No there small holes
Answer: no
Q:
does this net float
Answer: I strongly doubt it but have never tried it to see. The net works fine for me; I use it for pigeon size birds.
Answer: Net broke on me first time out. Avoid.
Answer: It's never been close to water except maybe a water dish....I use it for catching pigeons in a large flight loft..It's works excellent...
Answer: No.
Q:
are there replacement nets available
Answer: Sorry we do not carry the replacement net for it.
Q:
Big enough for a cat?
Answer: Big enough for a house cat but I wouldn’t suggest using it. It could end up in quite a battle
Answer: Yes, it should work, but the cat would probably get out. Best you reconsider your idea.
Answer: Oh yea
Answer: I think so.
Product reviews of KUFA Telescope Aluminum Landing Net (hoop 16"x16",Handle 20~32") LND10
The H family : Compact and easy
Product is really nice. Hard to find one that is this compact. Great for transporting without having the long handle. Handle and net seem durable. I don't know if it would stand up to heavy use but for the occasional fisherman, it's very nice.
Larry Grantham : KUFA Telescope Aluminum Landing Net
Beautiful quality! Highly recommended.

Todd Erwin : Handle fell off during use
While using this for the second or third time, the top telescoping handle slid off. Apparently this was not glued properly to the mechanism that locks the telescoping handle in place. Tons of super glue seems to have fixed the issue for now.
Jessie : Bad net
Don't waste your money. Net sometimes falls down on metal rods the net is on. Pain to get back on. I have a rooster tail that I had to cut hooks off to get it out. Better options out there.
aluis : NETTING NOT AS EXPECTED
Hooks get easily stuck in the netting. I had to slightly cut the net to get the hooks out. The only positive is the collapsing frame which allows me to easily store in my boat otherwise it is a terrible product. Luckily I replaced the netting with a rubber coated frabill that I recently purchased in Walmart to replace this one.
Stephen Buckley : Four Stars
Nice and compact.
tak : Handle not secure.
The handle telescopes but easily parts when extended. When I tried to use the net the tightening ring split as I tried to tighten it extended. I had to drill and insert a screw for it to hold extended. What a pain!

Haven't used it yet. Looks well built.

good quality and good service.
Turtle Slave : a pretty nice net
a pretty nice net, but the handle was a little short given the size of the net itself. I was using it to catch turtles from a kayak. On my first trip out with this net balanced on the front of the boat, after 4 hours I was inattentive when I drifted under some low hanging branches and the net fell off and sank right to the bottom of the river! Why make a fishing net that doesn't float???

David : Quality net at a great price point.
Net worked great hauling in 8+ pound Striped bass. Previous reviews I believe are user error. The net held up great, extended perfectly and was easy to use. The people complaining of hooks getting stuck in the net need to understand that happens with every net. Know how to use your equipment and this net is perfect for kayaks, shore or boat.

Folds up nicely. Perfect for netting in the surf or a pier.
Amazonaholic : Great folding net
I've used this a couple of times. Not as much as I'd like since a fisherman is something I'm not that good at anymore! The quality is great and the way it folds up is nice and takes up little room. I recommend this.
nolat_tsi : very nice net for the price
very nice net for the price. They have 2 sizes. I have both. The smaller works for fish up to about 20-25" or bigger in a squeeze. The larger net works for about all fresh water fish. High quality alloy metal hinge part.

Really nice dip net.
tiffani : Huge
Huge net! Not for simple bream fishing this is for big game
Jeremy H : These are awesome! Especially for boat fishing
Bought one for me and one for a gift. These are awesome! Especially for boat fishing. They fold up
Super compact and assemble quickly. I can set this up while reeling in a fish. Made of good quality and haven't had an issue scooping up a fish yet! Just click buy you don't need to think about this one. Great price too!

Easily folds (in the standard way) and the net material doesn't hurt the fish.
I've been using for a month and I'm very satisfied so far.
Charles M : Ouch!
Received the net today and as others have said "no instructions included"! Thanks to the questions that previous owners had answered it was possible to figure out how to unfold and fold the net. The handle does telescope even though someone had said it did not. It is easy to pinch a finger (at least for me) while trying to fold the net and even when telescoping the handle. It is not easy to fold and unfold the net and that is the most disappointing thing about this product. It is easy to carry and and the price was good. So no instructions and hard to fold and unfold, suggest another net might be a better choice.
jjc243029 : Nice
Really nice net for 5 lb or smaller fish. folds up good.
ViszlaGirl : Buy it
Looks good, works good and is easy to store. What more could you want?
Old Man on a mission : Three Stars
