Answer: Yes, it is possible to use pouch or bag holders with these bags.

Can you cook dehydrated food in these by adding boiling water?
Answer: I suppose you could since the bags can withstand boiling, but I would be more concerned with the safety of how to put boiling water into a bag and not potentially burning yourself accidentally. Any attempt to put boiling water inside the bag is solely the responsibility of the end user and they take all responsibility.

Answer: I don’t know the thickness. They seem substantially similar to the Rival and Food Saver brand bags. I have used these Vesta bags with no problems.

Perfect size for packaging meat for the freezer and so convenient as premade bags. And they delivered them quick so we had them in time for our butchering.
DLP : Good as the Big Name Brands
These come in bulk with no fancy packaging. I don't buy them for bright colors, I buy them to seal my T-Bone Steaks and other valuable carnivorous delights. They work just as good as the big names and for that reason I buy them and use them. Better price, larger quantity and perfectly good.

We live on a one acre farm & have 40 raised beds & 35 fruit trees. I use my Food Saver vacuum sealer daily. We dehydrate fruit, freeze various berries & veggies and then vacuum seal them. It was getting expensive using the name brand bags so I bought the Vesta brand. So far they are working fine. We will see how well they keep their airtight seal. Will be buying more!
