Answer: I suppose you could since the bags can withstand boiling, but I would be more concerned with the safety of how to put boiling water into a bag and not potentially burning yourself accidentally. Any attempt to put boiling water inside the bag is solely the responsibility of the end user and they take all responsibility.

Answer: I don’t know the thickness. They seem substantially similar to the Rival and Food Saver brand bags. I have used these Vesta bags with no problems.

We live on a one acre farm & have 40 raised beds & 35 fruit trees. I use my Food Saver vacuum sealer daily. We dehydrate fruit, freeze various berries & veggies and then vacuum seal them. It was getting expensive using the name brand bags so I bought the Vesta brand. So far they are working fine. We will see how well they keep their airtight seal. Will be buying more!

These come in bulk with no fancy packaging. I don't buy them for bright colors, I buy them to seal my T-Bone Steaks and other valuable carnivorous delights. They work just as good as the big names and for that reason I buy them and use them. Better price, larger quantity and perfectly good.

This is our first vacuum sealer and it has been great. It is very easy to use. The only issue we’ve had is that the buttons are very sensitive and turn the unit on with even the lightest touch. This is by no means a reason to not purchase this device. I would and sure will purchase this vacuum sealer again.

These bags might be fabulous, but they do NOT work with the Oliso brand of vacuum food sealers. So if you own an Oliso vacuum sealer, don't buy these bags -- you can't use them.

I bought these after reading all the glowing reviews. Makes me wonder if the users ever used foodsaver or other vacuum bags. I only had to feel one bag. They feel lightweight and thinner than any brand of bags I have used.
I realized that the ml of thickness is not listed and in searching the Vesta site I still can’t find the ml of thickness but betting less than 4ml.
I have used vacuum sealers for many years and decided I don’t want to take a chance for longer storage in freezer with these so rather than use them, I am returning.

Bags by the manufacture of my upper end vac sealer are on back order and when I try and use seal a meal bags with my machine they release vacuum shortly after being sealed. Needed a higher grade of bag so I was reluctant to order this bag, because of lower price. Pleasantly surprised by quality of product and how well it is working with my higher vac pressure sealer.
