how long is the net on the 30x32 size?

How long is the handle or pole? Is it telescoping?

Answer: The Frabill model 8523 that I purchased is telescoping. The handle extends 2 more sections from the main shaft/handle. I measured apx 76in from the base of the yoke to the tip of the completely extended telescoping handle.

How deep is the net?

Answer: 53 inches I believe. Ive netted catfish up to 47 inches in it. It could easily handle bigger fish.

What are the measurements of this net? Getting conflicting sizes. What is the measurement across the opening and how deep is the net?

Answer: The the “useable” portion of the Frabill power stow net model 8523 that I purchased is apx 29in wide by 32in long, and measures apx 38in deep free standing, BUT stretches easily to apx 47in deep. I measured from the inside of the rim across the opening both ways to get the 29by32in measurements.

Bought one of these for cobia. Perfect size for fish up to 90 lbs. Love how it collapses as well. But the fun stops there. While the net’s webbing seems durable to the touch, the fish were quick to tear holes in it. Nearly every fish led to another patch job. I chalked it up as a defect and bought another. But the second net was no different, getting torn to shreds after just two fish. Either an unbelievable feat for fish without teeth or a truly poorly made product.
