Answer: Whether their made in USA is a concern, since China can add toxins to the ingredients. Legitimate question, and YES we are in a cold war with china.

No delivery in California? How come other flavors can be delivered except the ez shrimp?

how long will these keep unopened?

Answer: After they are opened, they last about 3 months. I have had 2 bags go bad unopened after only 6 months. But they were kept in the garage where it’s hot. However, I have seen them in tackle shops half dried up and darkened still on the shelf.

Wow, caught a whiting on my first cast using this strip + a small piece of squid attached to it. Awesome product except not reusable, the soft pink stuff turns to mush if you try and remove it from the hook after using it. Just FYI

This stuff is great. I was tired of getting ripped off by pin fish stealing all my live shrimp. Toss a little piece of this on a tiny hook. Now the pin fish are my bait. My fishing buddy put a about a 2 inch piece of this on a bigger hook and landed a pretty hefty bull redfish.

Robert : I've had really good results with Fish Bites, wish I had tried them sooner.

My experience after five fishing trips is that fish that will eat cut shrimp will eat Fish Bites. The advantage of Fish Bites over cut shrimp are:

(1) No thawing out frozen shrimp
(2) Costs less. I usually get three fishing trips out of a package (I use them on one rod with multiple hooks and a lure on the other rod)
(3) Difficult for fish to steal. A determined pinfish will steal it eventually but he really has to work at it.
(4) No smell no mess. Nothing to clean up.
(5) Doesn't go bad. I keep the Fish Bites in the cooler and use the leftovers the next week, fish still like it.
(6) Perfect for travelling. Toss a bag in your luggage and you are good to go.

Worked very well. Fished from the surf using a pompano rig. Caught a few different species including this one hard fighter. Used the Flea and the shrimp scents. Will purchase again when coming to the beach.

Easy to use but did dissolve fairly quickly.
Good backup for when bait is hard to get but I wouldn't totally rely on it . The pompano hit the fresh peal shrimp at a quicker rate than the Fishbites. It's clean and doesn't smell. It be good for teaching kids to fish I think.

P Son : Work great on smaller hook set up.

I mostly use this on a high/low with size 4 circle hook (too lazy to watch the tip and setting hook). Work on many species (croaker, spot, trout, white perch, drum, and occasionally catfish hit it too). Though they tend to prefer the shrimp scent. I experimented with two scents "Sand flea" and "Shrimp", with shrimp being the top rig and Sand flea on bottom rig. I say 8/10 they would go for the shrimp scent. Will definitely pick up some of the other scents like clam, squid, and blood worm. Also they stay on the hook extremely well, and you just need a little bit of it. Though the down size of it, is also taking off the hook as the mesh would get stuck on the barb.

If you surf fish at least in Florida. And want to catch a fish without lugging shrimp or bait or digging sand fleas. This is the bait for you. At first look I was thinking what the heck. But gave them a try and was blown away! Just be sure to seal the package well. They do tend to dry up after a month or two. Even unopened if kept in the garage where it may get hot.

It could be just my experience, but I didn't find it as effective. There were many good sized fish in water but this bait was being picked in small bites by tiny fishes untill it was gone.
I had better luck with live shrimp instead. Nutshell I will continue to use it for better experience.

Used them for first time surf fishing at PCB FL in June. They worked fine and caught fish. You will need something to cut it... I used a small pair of scissors. The bait lasts a long time on the hook. I will use this again

My cousin told me about these fish bites and how great they worked. I always take these to the coast with us and when nothing bites with live bait I put a couple of these on a pompano jig and boom, fish. We have pulled in 48 inch reds using these fishbites. Cant go wrong with ordering these. I love them.

Great artificial bait that is very easy to use. Used it on a pompano rig and was getting hits every cast. It’s hard to get it off once it’s on the hook which is great since you can reuse the same piece over and over again. Definitely gonna get more.
