Simple to Use Anywhere The Reel BriteBite Jr is extremely simple to use. Whether you own a yacht, boat, kayak, canoe, or want to fish off the bank this light will work for you. Wherever you can carry a power source, this light will work. Just attach it to a deep-cell marine battery (not included) using the included battery clamps and throw it in. Depending on the environment, bait will start showing up within 15-20 minutes and continue to be attracted by the light. Predator fish will soon follow, and you will have created a secret fishing hole of your own.	Attract Fresh & Saltwater Fish It is well known that many species of fresh and saltwater fish mainly feed at night, but it is often difficult to catch them. Underwater fishing lights solve this problem by bringing the fish right to you. After a short amount of time in the water, the light causes a chain reaction.	Know How to Catch Them Fishing the outer edges of the light will produce more bites than directly in the light. That's where the bigger fish will be circling and occasionally dart into the light for an easy meal. Matching the bait size and color that is swimming around the light will result in significantly more strikes. If you prefer using live bait, just net a few swimming around the light and "match the hatch" perfectly!	Use with a 12v Battery or 110v Outlet Any commonly found 12v battery will power the light. The light's draw is minimal compared to other lights but we do push 60 watts making it one of the most powerful 12v lights available! The light will draw 5 amps per hour on a 12v battery. Using a separate and designated deep cell battery with 50+ AH is recommended.

This light's LEDs are water cooled and will overheat if operated out of water for more than a minute. Only operate while submerged in water.

This is not a toy. Do not shine into eye or look directly at the light while powered on. This light is designed with a dimmer switch allowing for safe dimming while out of the water. Looking directly into the light while turned up may cause temporary or permanent eye damage. Children should be supervised.

This light includes an optional cigarette outlet plug adapter. The power draw from a standard 12v boat system will be around 5AH (amp hours) so using a 6-8amp fuse is recommended.

These lights are not designed to be left in the water permanently allowing for growth to develop on the light without regular cleaning. The LEDs are water cooled, if growth/algae/barnacles are allowed to form on the light, it will not be properly cooled and shorten the life of the LEDs. It is highly recommended to inspect the light every 14 days until it is determined how often the particular marine environment will influence the light. These lights do not have zinc anodes, so placing them in saltwater environments for extended periods is not recommended. Fishing lights are legal in most areas but make sure to check with local, state, and/or tournament regulations prior to use in your area.

* Lumens Testing *

This lights efficiency has been tested by a third party lab and resulted in white diodes registering at 148.742lm/w and the green registering at 138.3309lm/w. When multiplied by the wattage (60w) it results in a max brightness for the white light of 8924.5 lumens and 8299.8 lumens for the green.
