Which Crappie Nibbles is the all around basic color to use on any lake or Reservoir?

Answer: I prefer pink. A good bright color. Sparkles are nothing but a big mess. You get so many on you it makes you look like you been to a strip joint.

Kindle Customer : Dont leave home with out it. Leave the glitter ones at the store though.

As discussed before the glitter is really irrelevant, it just makes you look like you went to a titty bar, but it does catch a lot of fish so at least you will smell like you went to the titty bar as well. For some reason the white nibblers are very hit and miss, the charts are always good and the pink is usually good. We have tested the effectiveness on same colored jigheads with the same skirts, with and without the nibblers at the same time and the nibbles entice more bites and outfish the nibbler-less jigs probably 4 or 5 to 1. They just work. We fish Arkabutla Lake, and we are jigging a month early while everyone is still trolling minnows and we are bringing home 8-10 keepers and everyone else at the ramp has maybe 1-3 keepers. Last week we caught 45 crappie, jigging, in October. That is crazy! We had 9 keepers which ended up being 16 pounds of fish. In October. Crazy. My advice to anyone jigging crappies is to put on a nibbler no matter what you are using. We will lip a minnow and still use a nibbler and it just plain out fishes anything else.
I cant stress how bad the glitter is though. It is crazy and goes away the second the bait touches the water, after it has pooed and projectile vomited glitter all over everything and everyone in the boat. Avoid the glitter. The green ones are pretty universal, and white is really only good with white baits or very natural colors. If I was going to use them for the first time I would by one of the green colors. Bluegill love them as well for some reason, I am not sure how I feel about that. Also Catfish love them. Caught a 9 lb blue cat on an 11 ft jigging pole on a crappie nibbler/Cajun cricket electric shad...good times.

I've used several other power baits but this one's the worst. The second you touch it your covered in glitter. There seems to be more glitter on me then the bait. Doesn't stay on the hook as well as other nibbles do. Just too messy.

If you're looking for a quick and easy bait to use for panfish and sunfish without getting messy these are great. I usually use a size 5 hook with one nibble; sometimes I use two, and a small weighted snap on float. Even though you might catch a lot of small fish, you'll catch a lot. I've lost count of how many green sunfish and bluegill I've caught this summer. I have platinum, sapphire, chartreuse, and neon pink nibbles and it seems like they prefer the ones with the glitter. More often than not they prefer the platinum nibbles over the sapphire ones.

This product works great. I put 3 on a large hook and was pulling in 9" or larger crappies while my buddy was getting zero with live minnows. I wish there was a larger bait size, but as long as i'm catching, I'm happy.

Neal : No luck for me except getting silver sparkles all over everything.

Not a single nibble ever any time I've used this bait. Plus you'll have silver sparkles everywhere on your fingers you cant easily get rig of and they don't wash off.
