Is this sand flea variety the long lasting or fast acting variety of Fishbites?

Answer: I’m not sure if it’s fast acting or not, but if you mean it catches fish by fast acting then it’s fast acting. It’s good stuff man, I don’t think however fish the South Carolina beaches without it again!

Answer: It lasts for a little over 1 hour if used as a still bait. Depends on what bait stealers are around.

Will they work in freshwater?

Answer: Yes they will work in freshwater

Answer: They will work in fresh waters that are transition waters, by that I mean estuaries or other areas where salt water and fresh water regularly mix. Fish are like other critters including humans, they're typically only going to eat something they recognize. So, if the fish you're seeking don't recognize a sand flea, or sandflea scent,vthis bait will be alien to them. Alternatively, if sand fleas are on your target fish's diet on a regular basis, this bait should work.

Answer: They make one called Bob’s Your Uncle for Freshwater and a Catfish Bait. The others are made for warm saltwater above 70 degrees.

So easy to use. Stays on your hook! Lasts a long time. Was on Dauphin island surf fishing was getting bites when it hit the water catching 23lb Black Drum, Whiting, Ladyfish, Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, Stingrays, Hardhead Catfish, Gaffsail Catfish. Amazing bait!! Worth every penny!!

Product arrived sooner then expected, and was packaged as expected. Performed well - worked as good as shrimp and sand fleas when fishing for pompano and whiting. Much longer lasting vs shrimp.

I needed to catch some pin fish, croaker, etc for bait fish. Couldn't keep shrimp or cut fish on the hook for more than a fish or 2. This stays put and is very difficult for bait stealers to pull off the hook. Attracts as well as shrimp and cut bait too.

I was excited to try this out, but when I first used it, I was sorely disappointed. I decided to try it again, but this time I cut it up into small pieces and put it on my circle hook. Instant success. I have caught fish after fish with it. All the fish that are afraid of commitment, just nibble at it until a fish comes along and puts it in its mouth. I highly recommend it. Will definitely order again.

Might not get the same bites as natural bait but much easier to use and less mess. Use a variety of these baits in saltwater so I can not speak to this variety in particular . Happy with all the fishbites at the right price. How it ages is the reason for a 4 and not a 5.

I've only tried them twice so I am not going to give up on this product yet, but I have only caught pin fish with them. However, I have had several people say that they have slayed the pompano with them, so I guess I just was not out there at the right time. Bought these to use in combination with live sand fleas. These are great, they have a mesh backing so they stay on the hook, so if my live flea flew off or was taken by the current I knew these were still on. . 1 bag lasted my weeks vacation!

Fishties : Florida Gulf Coast best bait

The tackle shop recommended Fishbites in Sand Flea flavor to me. Caught redfish, bluefish, several pompano from the beach. Later in the week I went on a party boat out of Panama City Beach. Using the same Fishbites, I limited out on beeliner snappers, caught several porgys and a couple of amberjack. Also caught and released a jumbo grouper that was out of season. I am a believer.
