Answer: No, because it’s not a bait, it’s a lure made of dough and it won’t stay on the hook if you cast it. It’s a scent made for jigs and jig poles.

do they actually work for crappy ?

Answer: They do but the way they work is providing the scent. Not so much the actual bait. We use them with a jig by applying one to the hook prior to casting or jogging. Also use them with a minnow.

This product does not work to catch crappie. Have tried to use it the same time while using Berkley crappie nibbles, never caught one with Magic bait but caught many with Berkley nibbles.
