What kind of I need for this ??

Answer: Depends on the clarity of the water, temperature, and the appetite on the fish. I think I have every kind of power bait they make and I catch more on garlic, corn, and chartreuse. But the darker the water the darker the color. Pale colors like marshmallow white have worked best for me in murky water. Added glitter or attractants can increase the likelihood as well. Also depends on if you're drop fishing or cast and reel. Just start collecting jars and try out different ones at different times.

The rubber small is terrible and I have not caught any trout with this lure. I have used them several time on lakes, rivers, and different water color (clear, murky) and caught trouts with different fake bait on the same spots.

This is a monster of a lure for stocked trout fishing. Trout absolutely love this bait. It works exceptionally well in clear water. It does have trouble floating on its own, so dead sticking it might not be an option. It is a must-have in your tackle box.

All these Rainbows! ???? caught with these mice tails. Mainly hit on the chartreuse/fl orange, but hit the bubble gum with a dab of garlic on the head.
