Questions about PowerBait Attractant

Hi! Can you tell me how many ounces this bottle has? The picture shows 8, but the product details says 1.95. Thanks!

Is it clear or colored?

Answer: not clear, yellowish

Answer: Yes it is clear with a medium thickness.

Answer: Clear but pretty thick. Works great.

What is the best way to use this stuff?

Answer: Best way to use it is to NOT BUY IT. It doesn't work.

Answer: For trout, shake the bottle,take lid off and dip bait in bottle to the bottom. Lid does have a spout to put on bait, but waste attractant, dipping in bottle waste nothing. By the way, it works great. Be sure to shake every time to mix.

Answer: I just drip it over a night crawler, we have done it this way for years (10+) and it has worked great for us. We have caught fish when no one else is having any luck.

Answer: I rub it on the lure. Apply every few casts. I also put some in the bait containers.

Answer: Just apply some to whatever lure or bait you are using.

I used it couple more times since the original review. After "marinating" for days, some lures seemed to absorb it better and did get follow-on bites. So I added a star.

It seems to neutralize odors on the lures but don't attract. The spiked lures get initial tentative bites, but they don't cause second bites much. In comparison, the scent is quite different from that of Powerbait lures, which is effective. Will continue to use up the bottle.

Ogy : Helped Me Fill My Freezer

I purchased a bottle of the Crappie Attractant in 2014 and only used it once that year, thinking it didn't make a difference.

During the summer of 2015 I was catching Crappie and they turned off, so, after trying different jigs with no luck, I figured what the heck, let's try the attractant. It produced fish!

Since that time I have used it on almost every cast and have yet to get skunked after using it. Even though I do use it on minnows, like the first time it worked, my primary baits are waxworms & maggots and they always get a "dab" before every cast. I find it very effective on Bluegills, especially using glow jigs after dark. On days when the fish are finicky I think it not only entices them to bite, they hold on to the bait longer.

I don't work out of the bottle that the attractant comes in, instead I transfer it to a 4 oz. (glass) eye dropper bottle and work out of that. I actually don't use the eye dropper proper, I use it more of a dauber.
